THE BLACK CROWES came to Japan for the first time in 17 years for their 30th anniversary tour. The entire performance collection will be released at once!
This visit to Japan will be a total of 3 performances, and we will release it as soon as possible by dividing it into 2 titles. This work is a transcendent audience recording of the first performance “November 5 + 6, 2022: Tachikawa Stage Garden” performance. First of all, let’s check how all three performances of this time are divided.

A total of 3 performances at 2 venues. This work is an audience recording set that records two consecutive performances at the same venue. Moreover, the two recordings of this work are sisters of the same recording artist collection. In other words, it is a 4-disc set that completely recorded Tachikawa 2 performances with a sense of unity with the same venue, the same recorder, and the same equipment.
And the sound is also the best with “super”. It also makes me want to go on endlessly, saying, “Very much…”. In fact, it is a work of a famous taper as a modern master, and in a word, it is “like an official work”. If you add one more word, “Where is the audience in this?”
Extremely thick core, fine details, a perfect sense of zero distance, and a beautiful ringing that even has a metallic luster… Everything has exceeded the perfect score and even the realm of imagination is out of the question, and I am overwhelmed by the unknown surprise that “Is such a customer record possible!?” In the era of 2022, did humans living in the present age make such spatial recording possible? If you think I’m joking because I’m exaggerating, I don’t mean it. However, when I try to praise him, I have no choice but to line up the rhetoric that I know, and even if I search with all my might, I can’t find anything. I can’t convey this excitement unless I spit out even the world’s worldly words… I’m even attacked by such an obsession.
With such a different sound, two consecutive performances at the same venue that are similar but different are depicted. The biggest point this time is the complete reproduction of the debut work “SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER”, but it is the first part of the show. In the second part after the album reproduction, the style was normal, and the selection was different every day. Here, let’s organize the set of Tachikawa 2 performances.

Perhaps because the two performances of this work were consecutive performances at the same venue, all three songs were replaced. On the first day (November 5th), it is a relatively old selection, and at the end of the day, it is composed of Stones’ cover “Rocks Off” from the latest EP. On the second day (November 6th), we will select from the revival works “WARPAINT” and “BEFORE THE FROST…UNTIL THE FREEZE” to casually produce the breadth of the 30th anniversary.
THE BLACK CROWES has been absent for 17 years since their appearance at Summer Sonic immediately after their reunion. 今回の来日は全３公演で、当店では２タイトルに分けて最速リリース致します。本作はその第一弾「2022年11月５日＋６日：立川ステージガーデン」公演の超絶級オーディエンス録音です。まずは今回の全３公演をどのように分けているのか、チェックしておきましょう。

以上、２会場の全３公演。本作は同会場２連続公演を丸ごと記録したオーディエンス録音セットなのです。しかも、本作の２録音は同一録音家コレクションの姉妹。つまり、同会場・同一録音家・同機材が揃った統一感で立川２公演を完全収録した４枚組なのです。
そして、そのサウンドも「超」付きの極上。それも「超々々々……」と無限に続けたくなるほどの。実は現代の名手として高名なテーパーの作でして、ひと言で表すなら「まるでオフィシャル作品」。もうひと言付け加えるなら「これのどこがオーディエンス？」でしょうか。
芯の極太感、ディテールの細やかさ、完全なゼロ距離感、金属光沢さえ湛えた鳴りの美しさ……。すべてが満点を超えて想像の域さえもハミ出し、「こんな客録があり得るのか!?」という未知なる驚きに打ちのめされる。2022年という時代は、現代に生きる人類は、こんな空間録音を可能にしてしまったのか……思わず、そんな妄言まで漏れてしまう凄まじさ。あまりに大袈裟すぎてふざけていると思われたら本意ではありません。ただ、褒めようとしたら知ってる美辞麗句をズラズラ並べるしか術がなく、全力でアラを探しても何も見つからない。世迷い言でも吐かないと、この感動をお伝えできない……そんな強迫観念にさえ襲われるのです。

……と、このようになっています。第二部も絶対外せない３曲「Thorn in My Pride」「Remedy」「Wiser Time」は固定で演奏され、３曲の日替わり曲が組み込まれるスタイル。本作の２公演は同会場の連続公演という事もあってか、３曲とも入れ替えでした。初日（11月５日）は比較的古めのセレクトで最後の最後に最新EPからストーンズのカバー「Rocks Off」でしめる構成。２日目（11月６日）は復活作『WARPAINT』『BEFORE THE FROST…UNTIL THE FREEZE』からセレクトし、さり気なく30周年らしい幅広さを演出しています。
