17公演が行われた1980年「The Game」に伴うヨーロッパ＆ＵＫツアーの5日目、11月29日のドイツはエッセン公演を高音質オーディエンス録音で完全収録。2012年に入って突如登場した同公演音源のアップグレード版を収録。この日の音源は、Bohemian RhapsodyとSheer Heart Attackが欠落しているヴァージョンと、それとは別マスターでほぼ完全に収録されているヴァージョンの2種があったのですが、音質はこれまで前者の方が良いと言われていました。本盤は、前述の通り、今年に入って登場した、後者の完全版のジェネ若ヴァージョンです。音質は、聴いて頂ければ判りますが、80年ヨーロッパ公演のオーディエンス録音としては間違いなくトップクラス。本来でしたらプレスCDでのリリースが相応しい、非常に高品質な音源です。カットはDragon Attack後半の2:57～3:16のフレディのボーカルソロパートで、この部分をもう一つの高音質と評される音源からパッチ収録していますが、そこだけ音が悪く聴こえるということは、今回のマスターがどれ程優秀か、お判りになられるのではないでしょうか。カットはBohemian Rhapsody終演後の曲間にあるぐらいで、音像も終始安定している、非常に高品質なマスターです。演奏も会場の盛り上がりも凄いものがあるのですが、Tie Your Mother Downの一番のサビの後、ギターがオフになると言うトラブルがあり、一瞬ですが、聴いたことのないような音像が飛び出し、聴く者を唖然とさせてくれます。フレディの調子はかなり良く、各所でご機嫌な歌声を聴くことが出来ます。中盤でのドラム＆ギターソロの後には「Flash」からBattle Theme～The Heroが披露されます。この日のThe Heroのフレディの独特の歌いっぷりも聴き所です。今年を代表する音源の一つである1980年エッセンのアップグレード版を最良のサウンドで楽しめる、ファン必携の1枚です。

November 1980 Essen Grugahalle』において欠落部分を補うために使われていたものと同音源で、具体的には「Now I’m Here (Reprise)」「Bohemian Rhapsody」「Sheer Heart Attack」に使われていたものだが、その部分の音質差は歴然であるばかりか、他の部分に関しても本品の方が明らかに優れた音質であり、何度も鑑賞に値する充実した内容に仕上がっている。「Dragon Attack」のトラック・タイム(2:57)?(3:16)もその音源で補われているとのことだが、丁寧な編集なのでスムーズな流れを感じることが出来るだろう。そして、この公演のトピックは初演として記録されている「The Hero」であり、フレディの試行錯誤にも聴こえる歌い回しが妙に新鮮である。従って、記録としての価値も非常に高いものとなっている。
