This is the outline of activities related to the resurrection work “DEGUELLO”. Almost only in North America, Europe has only 5 performances as a showcase. The appearance of “ROCKPALAST” in this work was the stage at the beginning.
This work recorded at such a show is a big classic among the classics and is superb. It’s a professional shot that has been officially officialized as “DOUBLE DOWN LIVE: 1980 & 2008”. This work is such a classic masterpiece, but it is not a copy of the official product. In fact, it is a rebroadcast version of West German Broadcasting (WDR), which is the origin of the original family. これが復活作『DEGUELLO』にまつわる活動概要。1981年も上記だけでなく、この後７月には次作『EL LOCO』をリリースし、さらなるワールドツアーへ邁進していきます。ほぼほぼ北米だけでヨーロッパはショウケース的に５公演だけ。本作の“ROCKPALAST”出演は、その冒頭にあたるステージでした。
そんなショウで記録された本作は、定番中の大定番にして超極上。まさしく完全オフィシャル級……と言いますか、実際に『DOUBLE DOWN LIVE: 1980 & 2008』として公式化も実現しているプロショットなのです。本作はそんな大定番の最高峰マスターではありますが、公式品のコピーではありません。実は本家本元である西部ドイツ放送（WDR）の再放送版。放送もデジタルなら録画もデジタルであり、局マスターから劣化なしでDVD化されている。オフィシャルを超えているかは断言しがたいものの、まったく劣っていない。超極上マスターなのです。

セットもコアなら、それを綴るパフォーマンスも激アツ。滴る芳醇なブルースは猛烈に熱く醸成されていきますし、重いブギの切れ味やエネルギーは新鋭AC/DCもぶっ飛ばす勢い。数年後にシンセポップに手を出すとは到底思えないディープなサザンロックをブチかましてくれるのです。
