“September 12, 2022: Orchard Hall performance” is engraved on this work. It is the ultimate matrix album of stereo / IEM recording + superb audience recording. Speaking of YES’s latest visit to Japan, the release of all performance audience recordings has just become a hot topic the other day, but this time a stereo IEM has appeared. Three performances were held at Orchard Hall this time, and all the sets were different. First of all, let’s look back at the whole schedule once again and check the position of the show.

A total of 5 performances. This work was also the last day of the entire Japan tour on the third day of Orchard Hall. Even in the above-mentioned “all performances at once release”, the final day was lined up, but that is a complete audience. This work also uses audience recording as a matrix material, but it is also a completely separate recording. Moreover, both the in-ear monitor material and the audience material are original recordings of only this work given by the recording artist himself, and everything is a shocking live album that will be released to the world for the first time.
“Of course, it doesn’t matter if it’s just the first appearance.” What is truly shocking is its sound quality, so to speak, it is a level that is not an exaggeration to say that it is a super-superb sound board of “like an official” class. Even if you say “IEM + AUD matrix” in one word, there are various personalities, and perhaps some people may think of a sound that only the core protrudes from the audience recording. However, this work is completely different from that kind. 以上、全５公演。本作はオーチャードホール３日目にしてジャパン・ツアー全体の最終日でもありました。前述した「全公演一挙リリース」でも最終日はラインナップされていましたが、そちらは完全オーディエンス。本作もマトリクス素材としてオーディエンス録音が使用されてはいますが、それも完全別録音。しかも、イン・イヤー・モニター素材もオーディエンス素材も録音家本人から譲られた本作だけのオリジナル録音であり、何から何まで全世界初公開となる衝撃のライヴアルバムなのです。
もちろん、初登場なだけでは別にどうという事もない。真に衝撃なのは、そのサウンド・クオリティでして、言わば「まるでオフィシャル」級の超極上サウンドボードと言っても過言ではないレベルなのです。ひと口に「IEM＋AUDのマトリクス」と言っても個性は様々で、もしかしたらオーディエンス録音の中から芯だけが突出するようなサウンドを思い浮かべる方もいらっしゃるかも知れません。しかし、本作はそういった類とまったく違う。バランスは明らかに「IEMが主／オーディエンスは従者」でして、サウンドボードでしかあり得ないゼロ距離＆激烈セパレート感の芯が縦横無尽に飛び交う。
