It is a live sound source in Paris in 1986 by Sonny Rollins Quintet. The sound source broadcasted this year (2022) is the master and has excellent sound quality. In the same year, they also held a concert in Japan, but the organization is slightly different from that, and the guitarist is missing here. The performance itself is an orthodox jazz style, but it seems to be playing an electric bass, which gives it a very interesting taste.

ソニー・ロリンズ・クインテットの1986年パリでのライヴ音源です。今年（2022年）に放送された音源がマスターとなっており音質抜群。同年来日コンサートも行っていますがそちらとは編成がやや異なり、こちらではギタリストが抜けています。演奏自体はオーソドックスなジャズ・スタイルですが、エレクトリック・ベースを弾いているようでなかなか面白い味わいを醸しています。
