From the 2015 “R40” tour to New York on June 10th, a 3-disc set that completely recorded the Buffalo performance with ultra-high sound quality audience recording. There are seven types of “R40” set lists, the basic “SET LIST A / B / C” and the rare “SET LIST D / E / F / G”. Live of “LIST B”. This “SET LIST B” is the farthest composition from the main story “SET LIST F”, and you can listen to numbers such as “The Wreckers”, “How It Is”, “Between The Wheels”, and “The Camera Eye” all at once. And, among the many “SET LIST B” records, this is the best-sounding live album! I wrote “the best sound”, but I think you can understand at a glance that it is neither an exaggeration nor a date. The core of each instrument is thick, the outline is vivid, the treble to bass is noiseless, and the balance is the best. The spectacle, which has a direct musical tone like a line and a reverberation that makes you feel a huge venue, has a sense of scale suitable for recording “RUSH’s historical total settlement”. The 2015 “R40” tour was exactly the total settlement live of RUSH’s history. A top-notch recording board that revives that excitement. A truly stunning recording board with no flaws found. This is recommended.

2015年「R40」ツアーから6月10日のニューヨークはバッファロー公演を超高音質オーディエンス録音で完全収録した3枚組。「R40」のセットリストは、基本の「SET LIST A・B・C」とレアな「SET LIST D・E・F・G」の７種類があり、本公演はマニア間で言うところの「SET LIST B」のライヴ。この「SET LIST B」は、本編の「SET LIST F」からもっとも遠い構成で、「The Wreckers」「How It Is」「Between The Wheels」「The Camera Eye」といったナンバー一気に聴ける。そして、数ある「SET LIST B」記録の中でも、最高サウンドのライヴアルバムが本作なのです！　「最高サウンド」と書きましたが、それが誇張でも伊達でもないことは、一聴で分かっていただけると思います。各楽器の芯が太く、輪郭もビビッド、高音から低音までノイズレスでバランスも最高……などといちいち書いていくのもバカらしくなるほど。ラインのようなダイレクト感ある楽音に、巨大な会場を感じさせる残響が絡むスペクタクルは、“RUSHの歴史総決算”を記録するのに相応しいスケール感までまとっているのです。2015年「R40」ツアーは、まさにRUSHの歴史の総決算ライヴでした。あの興奮が蘇る頂点的記録録音盤。欠点が見つからない、実に見事なな録音盤。これはお薦めです。
