14 ON FIRE ヨーロッパ・ツアー３日目の6月1日のスイス・チューリッヒ公演を複数のオーディエンスショット映像を編集し仕上げたファンメイドによる究極の映像作品。大半はYou Tubeからの映像のようですが、とにかく楽曲ごとに、驚くほど手の込んだ編集がなされており、その熱意とストーンズに対する愛情には頭が下がる思いです。大元はYou Tubeで観れるので（http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNHGC85qMV4 ）、普通にパソコンで手軽に楽しむのならこれで十分とは思いますが、本作品は当店よりリリースされた、ユーロ・ツアー最高音質盤との評価も高い「ZURICH 2014」の音をシンクロさせており、これだけでも本盤をゲットする価値があります。You Tubeでアップされたこの作品の音も良好で素晴らしいと思いますが、こちらはおそらくビデオマイクでの録音で、しかも圧縮がかかっており（MP3)、オーディオ本来のクオリティ評価としては今一つ。比べてみると、音質的には明らかに「ZURICH 2014」の方が優れています。また大元のYou Tubeは複数のオーディオソースで全体を構成しているの対し、本盤はイントロとアウトロを除いては、単一ソースでコンサートを完全収録しているという大きな利点があります。いずれにせよ、ツアー屈指の録音と世評の高い「ZURICH 2014」の音源で観れる、この究極映像作品は、間違いなくファン必見・必見と思います。ただ、元々、映像と音がシンクロしていない部分が多々あり、「ZURICH 2014」を使ってよりベターなものを造り出そうと努力はしたのですが、「元々ずれてるのものを修正するのは不可能」な箇所があるのはご容赦下さい。

オープニングは公式のダイジェスト映像をフィーチャーしていますが、冒頭の独自映像によるベロジェットのは雰囲気を大いに盛り上げてくれます。ちなみに映像ラストも映画仕立てのエンドクレジットに続いて空港を飛び立つベロジェット映像で締めるなど、その辺のセンスもややオセンチとはいえ流石です。コンサート本編は一体いくつ使ったのかとかと数えるのも億劫になってしまう程の複数の映像、前後・左右・極端に遠かったり近かったりと、多種多様なアングル映像を巧みに編集しており、一時も飽きさせません。とにかくどれ程高度な編集をしようが、元素材の多くがYou Tube映像ですので、パートによっては画素も甘くソフトで見辛い（＝メンバーの表情が掴みづらい）箇所もあったりもするわけですが、それを編集の妙で、その素材の質をそれ程意識せず楽しめるようになってるのは本当に素晴らしいことです。アングルは素晴らしいのに画素が甘かった映像が、複数の映像をかませることで、それぞれがここまで活きてくるのですから、本当に大したものと感じます。優れた単一ソースも最高なのは周知の事実ですが、一つのコンサートからあれだけ複数の魅力的な映像が出現するこの時代、これからはこういった複数のソース仕立ての作品が主流化してくるのも知れませんね。とにかく、この作品の完成度には脱帽です。正直、ここまで手の込んだ、ここまで凄い映像作品というのはあまり見たことない程です。

チューリッヒでの演奏はユーロツアーの中でも特にテンションの高い演奏が聴け、ファンの中でも人気の高い公演。この日はロニーの誕生日で、You Got The Silver終演直後にキースがロニーにの肩に手をかけ「Happy Birthday, Ronnie!」と言う微笑ましいシーンも見れます。世界中のファンを狂喜させた、リクエストコーナーのLet’s Spend The Night Together（オスロに続く２回目）、日本公演では披露されなかったOut Of Control（リスボンに続いての２回目）、そしてWorried About You等見所満載。３回目の演奏となるCan’t Be Seenではキースが歌詞が危うくなる様子も見れます。Miss Youでも珍しくミックが歌の入りを間違えますが、コンサート自体は前述の通り、ノリ良く終始楽しい出来栄え。ショウ後半の盛り上がりもまさにスペクタクルと言った感じでただただ見入ってしまいます。ここまで優れた内容ならプレスDVDで所有したいと思われるコレクターも多いのではないでしょうか。オリジナル・メニュー付きの大推薦盤。
