A multi-camera video series of the weekly 60th anniversary tour “Sixty”. Two of the latest bullets will be released at the same time this week.

This is the latest status of “Sixty”. The 9th performance has already been completed, and by the time this article is published, preparations for the show will be steadily progressing in Lyon, the 10th performance. Under such circumstances, the Amsterdam performance of this work is the 7th performance out of 14 performances. It was a concert that was a turning point.
This work, which allows you to fully experience such a show, is the cutting edge of the ever-evolving multi-camera editing series. It seems that he writes the same thing every week, but the quality goes up as he stacks each one, so it’s amazing. At the Hyde Park 2 performance, I thought, “This is probably the best tour,” but this work is even more amazing …
The type is a straight pro shot type. It is an edit in which the angle changes from one song to another. The voice is switchable, but it’s a little different. In the past, the sound changed at the same time as the angle was switched, but this work is passed through with one best recording in one song, and only the angle is switched. I’m imagining that the detailed production memo has not been released, but I think that it is probably the same best recording as possible, and only the missing part is complemented by another recording. Of course, it is ideal to record through the full show completely, but the degree of perfection that each song can be fully immersed is more than the point.
And the point this time is that switching is dynamic. These days, multi-camera works emphasize close-up photography and do-up. It was a powerful video that seems to be passed through almost only up, such as the Hyde Park 2 performance. However, this work is different. While many types of ups that are comparable to Hyde Park are used, distant view shots from the stand seats are also effectively inserted. When Mick moves the stage from right to left, it quickly and casually switches between the coolness of the up and the positional relationship of the entire stage. Moreover, the timing and angle selection are also tightly compliant with the song. The number of angles used and the quality of the zoom are clearly improved, but it’s clear that the sense of switching is definitely evolving.
The evolutionary video is a full show with a lot of rare songs. Let’s organize the set immediately.

However, after that, a variety of songs, “Let’s Spend the Night Together” and “Sweet Virginia,” which appeared for the first time on the tour, have been selected.
Although there was a crisis of tour interruption at one point, “Sixty” has been steadily improving since then. There is a wide variety of song selection, and song selection has become more flexible. A video masterpiece that you can fully enjoy with multi-camera editing that evolved such a full show. Please enjoy this week to your heart’s content.

これが“Sixty”の最新状況。すでに９公演目まで終了しており、本稿が公開される頃には10公演目のリヨンでショウの準備が着々と進んでいることでしょう。そんな中で本作のアムステルダム公演は全14公演中の７公演目。まさに折り返し点となるコンサートでした。
そんなショウをフル体験できる本作は、進化し続けるマルチカメラ編集シリーズの最先端。毎週毎週、同じ事を書いているようですが、１本１本重ねるほどにクオリティが上がっていくから凄い。ハイドパーク２公演で「これでツアー最高峰だろうな」と思ったのですが、本作はさらに凄い……。
タイプとしましては、正道プロショット型。１曲中にもアングルがコロコロと変わっていく編集です。音声は切り替わり型なものの、これまでとはちょっと違う。従来はアングルのスイッチングと同時に音声も変わっていましたが、本作は１曲内で１本の極上録音で通しており、アングルだけが切り替わる。詳しい制作メモが公開されているわけではないので想像ですが、恐らく可能な限り同じ極上録音で通しており、足りないパートだけを別録音で補完しているのではないでしょうか。もちろんフルショウを完全通し録音なのが理想なものの、１曲１曲はしっかりと浸れる完成度は及第点以上です。
そして、今回のポイントはスイッチングがダイナミックな事。このところのマルチカメラ作品は接写・ドアップ重視。ハイドパーク２公演など、ほとんどアップだけで通しているようなド迫力映像でした。しかし、本作は違う。ハイドパークにも負けないアップが何種類も多用されつつ、そこにスタンド席からの遠景ショットも効果的に差し込まれている。ミックがステージを右へ左へと移動する際、そのアップのカッコ良さとステージ全景の位置関係を素早く、かつさり気なくスイッチングして見せてくれる。しかも、そのタイミングやアングル選びもキッチリと曲想に準拠。使用されているアングル数やズームのクオリティも明らかに向上していますが、スイッチングのセンスも確実に進化しているのがよく分かるのです。
そんな進化系映像で描かれるのは、いつになくレア曲たっぷりなフルショウ。早速セットを整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。ハイドパーク２日目は「Get Off Of My Cloud」で開始する変化球でしたが、アムステルダムではツアー定番の「Street Fighting Man」スタートに回帰。しかし、その後はバラエティ豊かで２曲のツアー初登場曲「Let’s Spend the Night Together」「Sweet Virginia」がセレクトされています。
一時はツアー中断の危機もあったものの、その後は順調に調子を上げている“Sixty”。選曲もバラエティに富み、選曲も自在になってきました。そんな折り返しのフルショウを進化したマルチカメラ編集でたっぷり楽しめる映像傑作。どうぞ、今週も心ゆくまで存分にご堪能ください。
