レイン・ツアー”。まさに絶頂期を迎えたこのツアーからのサウンドボード・
ライブが新たに登場！1985年2月27日から3月5日まで全6公演が行わ
れたサンフランシスコ・カウ・パレスでの初日である2月27日公演を極上
クオリティのステレオ・サウンドボード音源で収録。オープニングの「レッ
ツ・ゴー・クレイジー」からシーラＥ等のゲストも加わっって大団円を迎え
る「ベイビー・アイム・ア・スター」そしてラストの「パープル・レイン」まで。
最後はフェイドアウト収録ですが同年ライブで公式リリースされたNY公
演には未収録の「ホエン・ユー・ワー・マイン」や「フリー」も含めコンサート
全曲を収録。”パープル・レイン・ツアー”の素晴らしさを改めて認識させられる必聴ライブ音源です。またこの時のカウ・パレス連続公演の最終日
である3月5日のサウンドチェック音源も収録。ザ・タイムのファンキー・チ
ューン「JERK OUT」「CHOCOLATE」を演奏。いわゆるコンサート・リハー
サルとは違う熱気溢れる演奏は注目です。「17 DAYS」や「LET’S
