With the release of the Sign of the Times Super Deluxe Edition, it is now possible to recreate the earliest unreleased album Dream Factory on April 22, 1986. It is a release that has been remastered so that all songs with various mixes are normalized and the sense of incongruity is eliminated as much as possible, including adjustments between songs. There is a theory that the first song is Visions, and the following Dream Factory is probably a version recorded on 5CD Crystal Ball, and before that, a short version of Nevaeh Ni Ecalp A is included, and such a flow is this config. Only ration and second configuration. Wonderful Day is the official name of It’s Wonderful Day, and includes the bootleg version of Wendy and Lisa who contributed more. And Big Tall Wall ends Side A with the version that was made before Susanna broke up, and And That Says What was the only version that appeared. Next, Side B contains an existing edited Strange Relationship with a different arrangement from the official version of Sign of the Times. Teacher, Teacher are also remastered in 2020 with better sound quality, and Starfish And Coffee is a bootleg version without the bell at the beginning, and a version sung by independent A Place In Heaven Lisa, and finally. The album ends with Sexual Suicide, which was on a different bootleg than the 5CD Crystal Ball version. The songs are very different from the previously known Dream Factory, and you will surely understand that it is a very wonderful album. And if it’s a single cut, 4 songs are also included for the 12-inch recording. The birth of the first configuration of Dream Factory, which is unthinkable any more.

サイン・オブ・ザ・タイムズのスーパー・デラックス・エディションのリリースにより、86年4月22日、最初期に作られた未発表アルバムDream Factoryを再現することが出来るようになりました。色々なミックスによる全ての曲をノーマライズさせて曲間の調整を含め違和感を限りなく無くすようにリマスターをしてのリリースです。一曲目はVisions、続くDream Factoryは恐らく5CDCrystal Ballに収録のバージョンだという説があり、その前にNevaeh Ni Ecalp Aのショート・バージョンが入っている形となっており、このような流れはこのコンフィグレーションとセカンド・コンフィグレーションのみです。It’s Wonderful DayはWonderful Dayが正式名称で、ウェンディとリサの貢献度が高い方のブートレッグ・バージョンを収録。そしてBig Tall Wallはスザンナと別れる前に作られた方のバージョン、そしてAnd That Says Whatも唯一登場したバージョンを使ってサイドAが終了します。続いてサイドBはサイン・オブ・ザ・タイムズのオフィシャル・バージョンとは異なるアレンジの既存のエディットされたStrange Relationshipを収録。Teacher, Teacherも音質が良くなった2020年のリマスターで、そしてStarfish And Coffeeは冒頭のベルの音がないブートレッグ・バージョン、そして独立したA Place In Heavenのリサが歌っているバージョン、最後は5CDのCrystal Ballのバージョンとは異なるブートレッグにあったSexual Suicideでアルバムの幕を閉じます。今まで知られているDream Factoryとは大きく収録曲が異なり、とても素晴らしいアルバムとなっているのは聴けばきっとわかってもらえるでしょう。そして更にもしシングル・カットしていれば、ということで12インチ収録のためのバージョンも4曲収録。これ以上は考えられないDream Factoryのファースト・コンフィグレーションの誕生です。

*プリンス/Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition Outtakesで未収録しかしこのコンフィグレーションだけで聴けるバージョンは、スタジオ名と録音時期が記載されいるのがそれに相当します。
