23 years of outtakes collection, second!

It is a collection of outtakes with a focus on dance numbers. First, Fantasia Erotica was offered to Anna Garcia, aka Anna Fantastic, who was her lover at the time in 1988. Carmen Electra later sang the Anna version, including a love talk on the phone between Prince and Anna. recorded. And the unreleased song PANGAEA recorded at Paisley Park in 2015 is an innovative number with vocals by Eryn Allen Kane, all instrumental parts by Prince, and the NPG Horns such as Michael B. Nelson. A number that tells the next world of Prince singing about the supercontinent Pangaea. And the new mix of Eye Am The DJ, which is almost unchanged but emphasizes the keyboard and becomes more danceable. And it can be said that the highlight of this title is Pussy Control (Extended Version). Exquisite cutting, bouncing bass, and Prince’s funk full throttle make it a super exciting version that you can tell it’s real. It’s Funky In Here, which is full of funkness, and Testify, which is a hyper version of 1999, are both Questlove’s treasured sound sources, and Questlove-like voices are included. And unfortunately, it’s a very short piece that connects fragments of songs, but Schoolyard with Eric Ries’ saxophone, and Pink Cashmere’s partial sound source that may lead to Positivity’s performance during the 1988 Lovesexy Tour. And the last one is just a little bit longer, 17 Days (Extended Version), plus two Hot Wit U remixes, 6 minutes 11 seconds, whose official name is unknown, but similar to what you hear at NPG music clubs. ダンサンブルなナンバーを中心にセレクトしたアウトテイクス集となっています。まず88年当時恋人だったアンナ・ファンタスティックことアンナ・ガルシアに提供されたFantasia Erotica、後にカルメン・エレクトラが歌うことになりますが、そのアンナ・ヴァージョンをプリンスとアンナの電話でのラブ・トークを含めて収録。そして15年にペイズリーパークで録音された未発表曲PANGAEAはEryn Allen Kaneがボーカル、プリンスがインスト・パートの全て、そしてマイケル・B・ネルソンらNPGホーンズが荘厳さを醸す新機軸のナンバー、幻の超大陸Pangaeaについてを歌っているプリンスの次の世界を教えてくれるナンバー。そしてほぼ変わりませんがキーボードを強調しよりダンサンブルになっているEye Am The DJのニューミックス。そしてこのタイトルの目玉と言えるでしょうPussy Control (Extended Version)。聴けば本物とわかる、絶妙なカッティング、跳ねるベース、プリンスのファンク大全開の超痛快バージョンとなっています。ファンクネス全開のIt’s Funky In Here、1999をハイパーにしたようなTestifyというファンクジャムは共にクエストラブの秘蔵音源のようで、クエストラブらしき声が入ります。そして残念ながら曲の断片を繋げた大変短いものですが、エリック・リーズのサックスが入るSchoolyard、そして88年のラブセクシー・ツアー時のPositivityの演奏へと繋がるのかもしれないPink Cashmereの部分音源もレアです。そして最後がほんの少し長いだけですが17 Days (Extended Version)、更にHot Wit Uのリミックス2種、6分11秒の方は正式な名前が不明ですが、NPGミュージック・クラブで聴けるものに似ているものの異なるより長いリミックスです。
