THE POLICE in 1979, who spread the enthusiasm of their shocking debut all over the world. A large standard professional shot that can witness such a dawn is a gift release decision.

If you stick to their “early appearance”, you will understand that this work is a historical and exceptional piece. The quality of such a work is also exceptional. I wonder if it can be called an official class by modern standards only for air check masters of analog broadcasting, but the master freshness is tremendous. There is no vintage feeling because it is a rebroadcast of VH1, and there are no dubbing marks, tape twists, or white line noise. It is an extremely glossy and smooth best master.
It is the youthful performance that is drawn with the beauty of the image because it is the early stage. There are 8 songs in the set along the broadcast frame of about 33 minutes, but since it is different from the latest “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE 1979”, let’s organize it while comparing.

It is a combination of a debut work and a single song like those days, but it also includes two songs that were not played in “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE 1979”. In particular, “Landlord” has not been played even in the Ketteiban pro shots such as “DON KIRSHNER’S ROCK CONCERT 1980” and “ROCKPALAST 1980” mentioned above. Both are standard songs at the time, so they are not extremely rare, but it is valuable to be able to see them in professional shots.
Sting with a punkish energy, Andy Summers with a sense of solitude, and Stewart Copeland with a hint of youth. It is a video masterpiece where you can witness the appearance of those who are not yet accustomed to media appearances hitting the limit of their passion. その映像美で画かれるのは、初期だからこその若々しいパフォーマンス。約33分の放送枠に沿ったセットは８曲ではありますが、直近『ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE 1979』とも異なっていますので、比較しながら整理しておきましょう。

パンキッシュなエナジーを振り撒くスティング、独り余裕を漂わせるアンディ・サマーズ、そして幼ささえ感じさせるスチュワート・コープランド。まだメディア出演にも慣れていない彼らが情熱の限りをぶつける姿を目撃できる映像傑作です。本作自体が絶対の傑作であり、初期プロショット・コレクションにも欠かせない１枚。どうぞ、この機会にじっくりとお楽しみください。
