The band “Wings”, which was formed by Paul McCartney for the first time after his solo activities after the dissolution of the Beatles, restarted with a new line-up in 1974 after the album “Band on the Run” for the upcoming world tour. Start rehearsal. “One Hand Clapping” was produced based on the recording and shooting documentary. The originally planned album and video work have not been officially released as a complete version since some sound sources and incomplete video were recorded by the archive collection. Under such circumstances, in recent years, a 2-disc acetate test press board of “One Hand Clapping” has appeared at the auction. For the first time, the contents of the recording became clear. (Pictures of the original are posted on the inside cover) This CD is completely recorded in the same order as the original original. So far, many collector’s titles have been circulated with various contents regarding session sound sources, but the contents that are completely reproduced according to the original master will be the first appearance. It is noteworthy that the sound source itself is an edited mix that is different from the video version, as well as “Blue Moon of Kentucky”, “Hi Hi Hi”, “Go Now”, etc., which are not included in the video work. In addition, the sound source from the piano session etc. in the video is also recorded additionally. This is also a different sound source from the video and a sound source that has not been recorded on the acetate test press master, including “Love My Baby”, which was first released in 2014. The DVD includes a complete recording of “One Hand Clapping” as a video work. In the first half “New Stereo Remastered Edit Version”, the original film and the official archive collection were monaural soundtracks that were replaced with a stereo mix and edited. Although there are comments and interviews, the point of this compilation is that you can watch the performance in full, and it is an edited version that allows you to enjoy band performances other than the piano scene in stereo. The second half “Original Complete Version” contains the complete version including cut scenes in the literal official archive collection. This is a complete version of the latest remaster with better image quality and improved sound quality of the soundtrack. The extra video includes unreleased footage from Paul and Linda’s rare interview show “This Is Your Life,” which was filmed by the BBC at the time of filming, as well as “Backyard” footage shot outside Abbey Road Studios at the time. Contains the song “Blackpool” and two Buddy Holly covers. ポール・マッカートニーがビートルズ解散後のソロ活動を経て初めて結成したバンド”ウイングス”はアルバム『バンド・オン・ザ・ラン』以降、１９７４年新たなラインナップで再始動し来たるべきワールド・ツアーに向けてリハーサルを開始。そのレコーディングと撮影ドキュメンタリーを元に制作されたものが『ワン・ハンド・クラッピング』である。当初予定されていたアルバムと映像作品はアーカイブ・コレクションによって一部の音源と不完全な映像が収録されて以降これまで完全版としては公式リリースされていないままとなっている。そうした中で近年『ワン・ハンド・クラッピング』の２枚組アセテート・テスト・プレス盤がオークションに登場。それにより初めてその収録内容が明確となった。（内ジャケに原盤写真掲載）今回のＣＤではそのオリジナル原盤通りの曲順で完全収録。これまでセッション音源に関しては数多くのコレクターズ・タイトルが様々な内容で出回ってきたがオリジナル原盤通りで完全再現した内容は初登場となる。映像作品には未収録の「ブルー・ムーン・オブ・ケンタッキー」や「ハイ・ハイ・ハイ」「ゴー・ナウ」等はもちろん音源自体が映像版とは異なる編集ミックスとなっているのは注目。さらに映像にもあるピアノ・セッション等からの音源も追加で収録。こちらも映像とは別音源や２０１４年に初公開された「ラブ・マイ・ベイビー」を含めアセテート・テスト・プレス原盤には未収録の音源がまとめられている。DVDでは映像作品としての『ワン・ハンド・クラッピング』を完全収録。前半の”ニュー・ステレオ・リマスター・エディット・バージョン”ではオリジナル・フィルムや公式アーカイブ・コレクションではモノラルだったサウンドトラックをステレオ・ミックスに差し替え編集したものでドキュメンタリー形式の元の映像では曲によって途中にコメントやインタビューが被るがこの編集では演奏をフルで視聴できるのがポイントでピアノ・シーン以外のバンド演奏をステレオで楽しめるエディット・バージョンとなっている。後半の”オリジナル・コンプリート・バージョン”は文字通りの公式アーカイブ・コレクションではカットされたシーンを含む完全版を収録。画質もこちらの方が良好クオリティでサウンドトラックも音質向上している最新リマスターの完全版となっている。エクストラ・ビデオには撮影当時ＢＢＣが取材したポールとリンダ中心の貴重なインタビュー番組『ディス・イズ・ユア・ライフ』と当時アビイ・ロード・スタジオの外で撮影された”バックヤード”映像から未発表曲「ブラックプール」とバディ・ホリー・カバー２曲を収録。初の未発表アルバム完全再現のＣＤと新編集映像完全版ＤＶＤを収録したＧＯＬＤＩＥＳレーベルからのポール・マッカートニー＆ウイングス『ワン・ハンド・クラッピング』最新版スペシャル・エディション注目のリリース！
