The latest in the popular Ultimate Archive series! In the mid-1990s, Paul worked on an anthology for about four years. “I’m working on a new album right now, but because of the anthology, it won’t be released until 1997. It’s good for me. I just enjoy making music without arguing.I work to my own deadlines.Sometimes I work with my Beatles mate Ringo.And we work together again. Then he came and played the drums with me…it felt good.” This work, which was recorded happily in such a way, was a great success. The must-listen track on this 2CD is a great version of the early mix of “Young Boy” and “Somedays”! This sound source was recorded on January 30, 1997 by Capitol Records from a sampler cassette containing 3 songs! (However, this cassette, a super rare item that is said to have been made only 30 sets) Both songs have been cleaned up as much as possible (slight hiss noise removal, light EQ, speed correction). It’s also amazing that we were able to record a very rare “censored” version of Linda’s “The Light Comes From Within” straight from the original CD-R acetate. Additionally, all 6 episodes of the ‘Oobu Joobu’ series on Flaming Pie CD singles, 3 versions of ‘The Ballad Of The Skeletons’ (tracks Paul recorded with Allen Ginsberg), and 2 on the B-side. The tracks are fully packed on 2 total press CDs!
