The latest in the popular Ultimate Archive series! Release 10 titles at once! I don’t know how to read the original title (laughs). The Japanese title is known as Back in the USSR. At the time of its release, it was released only in the Soviet Union. A collection of rock standard numbers from the 1950s recorded in just two days in 1987. Twenty-two songs were recorded during the recording sessions, of which only eleven were originally included on the album. However, when the second pressing was released in the Soviet Union, “I’m Gonna Be a Wheel Someday” and “Summertime” were added, bringing the total number of tracks on the album to 13. Furthermore, when the world common CD was released in 1991, “I’m in Love Again”, which was recorded in the 1989 single “This One” and was already announced, was recorded as a bonus track, making a total of 14 songs. . In addition to the 14 songs, this title also includes a song recorded on the single and two songs recorded on the Elvis Presley tribute album. In addition, two medleys from the sessions for this album were produced for the August 20, 1987 promotion. Includes two medleys. Interestingly, these include (some of) songs that won’t be included in the official release. These medleys (also known as Choba B CCP Medley I and II) leaked online in April 2010. It was probably leaked from a cassette belonging to former Wings roadie Trevor Jones, which was auctioned by Christie’s in 1998. Back in the USSR gathered so many sound sources! I hope it will be a good opportunity to listen to it again. It will be delivered on a permanent preservation version press CD.

大人気のアルティメイト・アーカイヴ・シリーズ最新作！一挙に10タイトル発売！原題は何て読めばいいか分かりません（笑）邦題はバック・イン・ザUSSRで知られております。発売当時はソヴィエトのみでリリースされました。1987年たった二日間でレコーディングされた1950年代のロックのスタンダード・ナンバー集。レコーディング・セッションでは22曲が録音されたが、当初その中から11曲のみがアルバムに収録された。しかしその後、ソビエトでセカンド・プレスがリリースされた際、”I’m Gonna Be a Wheel Someday”, “Summertime”が追加収録され、アルバムの収録曲数は13曲になった。さらに1991年の世界共通盤CDのリリース時に、1989年のシングル『ディス・ワン』に収録され既に発表されていた “I’m in Love Again”がボーナス・トラックとして収録され計14曲となった。このタイトルにはその14曲に加え、シングルに収録された曲とエルビス・プレスリー追悼アルバムに収録された2曲も追加収録。さらに1987年8月20日プロモーションのためにこのアルバムのセッションから2つのメドレーが製作された。そのメドレー2つを収録。興味深いのは、これらが公式リリースに収録されない曲（の一部）を含んでいることだ。これらのメドレー（Choba B CCP Medley I and IIとしても知られている）は、2010年4月にネット上に流出した。おそらく、1998年にクリスティーズによってオークションにかけられた、元ウィングスのローディ、トレヴァー・ジョーンズの遺品のカセットから流出したものだと思われる。バック・イン・ザ USSRでこれだけの音源が集まりました！今一度聴いてみる良いきっかけになればいいなと思う。永久保存版プレスCDでお届けします。
