Live document work “STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE” The performance of the day is recorded with professional shots and sound board sound source. Oasis, which had already been able to mobilize at large venues, performed on a small scale at a rehearsal studio in London. This is a one-time special event planned for video works, which also serves as preparation for the tour along with the new songs at that time.

“STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE”, which was finished as a document work, has been edited to a total length of less than 50 minutes by cutting several songs from the actual live, but this DVD of this work is less than 50 minutes. Along with the work of, the cut song is also recorded. Of the four songs released as promo videos, three songs “The Meaning Of Soul,” “Champagne Supernova,” and “I Am The Warlus” are not included in the main story. Also, “Cigatettes & Alcohol” is a professional shot video released only by web streaming, which is also a song not included in the main story.

In this way, the DVD respects “STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE” as a work, and the work is recorded as a work and the unrecorded songs are recorded in a separate frame without inserting unrecorded video in the middle. Please refer to the track list for details. On the other hand, the CD has been edited so that you can listen to the set list of the day in the correct song order according to the actual performance order. Actually, 21 songs were played, but at the moment, only 17 songs recorded in this work can be heard on the sound board, and the existence of the audience sound source has not been confirmed. In any case, this work is the longest and most recorded recording that can be considered at present. A press board with beautiful picture disc specifications for permanent storage. ライブ・ドキュメント作品『STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE』当日の演奏をプロショットとサウンドボード音源で収録。既に大規模会場での動員を可能としていたオアシスが、ロンドンにあるリハーサル・スタジオにて小規模で行ったライブ。これは映像作品用に企画され、当時の新曲と共に、ツアーの準備も兼ねた一度きりの特別イベントである。

ドキュメント作品として仕上げられた『STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE』は実際のライブから数曲カットされトータルで50分弱の長さに編集されているが、本作のDVDには、この50分弱の作品と共に、カットされた曲も収録されている。プロモ映像として発表された4曲の内「The Meaning Of Soul」「Champagne Supernova」「I Am The Warlus」の3曲は本編未収録曲。また「Cigatettes & Alcohol」はウェブ・ストリーミングでのみ公開されたプロショット映像で、こちらも本編未収録曲である。

このようにDVDは作品としての『STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE』を尊重し、未収録映像を途中挿入することなく、作品は作品として、未収録曲は別枠で収録している。詳細はトラックリストを参照してもらいたい。一方でCDは実際の演奏順に即し、当日のセットリストを正確な曲順で聴けるよう編集が施されている。実際は21曲演奏されたということだが、現在のところ本作に収録されている17曲のみがサウンドボードで聴ける全てであり、オーディエンス音源は存在自体が確認されていない。いずれにしても現在考えうる最長かつ最多収録が本作である。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。デジパック仕様でプラスチック・スリーブケース入り。
