The 2000 “Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants Tour” will be kicked off in Japan, and the band will go on a North American tour after a short EU tour with only three performances. The February 29th Yokohama Arena performance, which was Japan’s first kick-off on the world tour of Oasis, was described in Melody Maker magazine as “the best I have ever seen” due to the lack of unity as a band and the lack of vividness of Liam. “Rehearsal” and was cut off. This work is based on the final performance of this short-term European tour in Cologne, Germany, with two types of FM sound board sound sources as the core, and was not broadcast “Fuckin’In The Bushes” “Go Let It Out” “Rock’n’ This is the first complete recording title that complements the three songs of “Roll Star” with good audience recording.

Noel started playing “Acquiesce” while Liam introduced the song “Whatever!”, And at the end of the song, he played “There She Goes” by The La’s, and “Don” from the UK tour in mid-July of the same year. The bonus track contains all 11 songs broadcast at that time and DJ talks based on the high-quality FM source (RadioSonic on CBC Radio2) of the Toronto performance in Canada. In addition, two TV performances of the new songs “Where Did It All Go Wrong?” And “I Can See A Liar”, which were removed from the set list at the beginning of the tour, are recorded on the sound board sound source, 2000. 2000年の「Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants Tour」はキックオフツアーを日本で行いバンドは3公演のみの短いEUツアーを経て、北米ツアーに突入していく。オアシスのワールド・ツアーにおいて、日本初のキックオフとなった2月29日横浜アリーナ公演はバンドとしての統一感の無さやリアムの精彩を欠いたパフォーマンスによってMelody Maker誌に「今まで観た中で最高のリハーサル」とバッサリと切り捨てられた。旧知の盟友ボーンヘッドとギグジーの脱退劇から、新メンバーであるゲムとアンディの加入により、オアシスのライブバンドとしてのあり方に心配がつきまとっていたものの、その後のジャパンツアーでは徐々にバンドとしての一体感が増していき、ツアー最終日の仙台公演では素晴らしいパフォーマンスを魅せてくれた。

一度帰国したバンドは、3公演のみのマイクロ・ヨーロピアンレグを、フランス、ベルギー、ドイツの3カ国で開催する。こちらでも日本公演後半の調子を維持しておりバンドのパフォーマンスも上々の出来である。本作はこの短期欧州ツアより最終公演となるドイツ・ケルン公演を2種類のFMサウンドボード音源を核とし、放送されなかった「Fuckin’ In The Bushes」「Go Let It Out」「Rock ‘n’ Roll Star」の3曲を良好なオーディエンス録音で補完した初の完全収録タイトルである。

リアムが「Whatever!」と曲紹介をしつつ「Acquiesce」をノエルが弾き初め、曲のラストにはThe La’sの「There She Goes」を爪弾く様子や、同年7月中旬のUKツアーから「Don’t Look Back In Anger」のコーラスをオーディエンスに託すようになったノエルが、この日の2度目のコーラスで「After you were!」と言い、オーディエンスにコーラスを託すシーンなど、聴きどころも多い公演でワールド・ツアー序盤のハイライトといえるだろう。

ボーナストラックには、カナダ・トロント公演を高音質のFMソース (RadioSonic on CBC Radio2) を元に、当時放送された全11曲とDJのトークを収録している。さらに、ツアー序盤でセットリストから外されることとなった新曲「Where Did It All Go Wrong?」と「I Can See A Liar」の2曲のTVパフォーマンスをサウンドボード音源で収録しており、2000年序盤のバンドの動きをしっかりと追体験できるタイトルとなっている。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。
