This is a schedule that has been released to date. The North American tour has been performed in all 28 performances, and it is just past the present. The Atlanta performance of this work was a concert corresponding to the 11 performances which reached the middle stage.
This work that recorded such a show is the best sound with “super” anyway. Anyway wonderfully on and furiously beautiful sound. So far, the greatest masterpiece of the North American tour has been introduced as “LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT (Amity 538)”, but this work is also thin. The highest peak lightly updated as it is an individualistic sound for each! Although I can not say that I would like to do it. Its personality is clear with ultra. When I listen to my headphones, I also notice the acoustics at the venue, but it is terribly clear and I can not feel any turbidity or overcast. Especially the ugly ones are trebles. The growth of the synth is like a laser beam that extends into the void, and the arpeggio shines as if one sound and one sound sprinkled silver powder in the hall and pours down quietly.
Of course, not only treble is pierced. The bass is also unusually clear, and the attack on the bass is so detailed that the angle of the finger can be felt, and the wave is also a waveform level. Even the rich sounding of “LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT” was perfect, but it is this work is the No. 1 in North America in the sound board like clear. “The Tabernacle”, which has become the site, is a 108-year-old tradition venue, but it is rather nice to be said to be the latest architecture. As a matter of fact, the perpetual preservation has been postponed because of the inhaling of a very modest speech voice, but the playing sound is just a press grade. As it has been proved in various works so far … No, SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS is an extraordinary dimension name recording mass production project when it is possible to release only this series, but with this one special one in this work It is a name recording.
What’s more, the top spot in this North American tour is also directly linked to the top of SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS. I have repeatedly introduced it so far, but this tour is the largest set that surpassed last year. We have introduced a new material, “Remember A Day” and “Childhood’s End”, and are showing a show that pours in all the repertoire that can be possessed. Moreover, the composition is set for the third performance, and after that, it is just getting harder. “The latest SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS is the highest SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS” status. In addition, the schedule may also have a positive impact. As you see the schedule above, there are no shows on the day before and after the Atlanta show, and the travel distance is not so much. Take a breather while moving, no worries about tomorrow. It is because of that (or maybe because of the sound too clear) the ensemble feels more than usual.
SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS which has become an exceptional recording unusual situation in rock history. This is a superb live album that can be said to be special even in the series production. “LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT” together with “I am Kore” is a famous item in the name of the item. This is a live album that I would like to recommend to those who want to make a complete collection, as well as those who will experience it for the first time.
これが現在までに公表されているスケジュール。北米ツアーは全28公演で行われ、現在は折り返しをすぎたところ。本作のアトランタ公演は、その中盤に差し掛かった11公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウを記録した本作は、とにかく「超」付きの極上サウンド。とにかく素晴らしくオンで猛烈に美音。これまで北米ツアーの最高傑作は『LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT（Amity 538）』とご紹介してきましたが、本作も肉薄する。それぞれに個性派サウンドなので軽々に最高峰更新！とは断言できないものの、してしまいたくなる。その個性とは、ウルトラ付きのクリアさ。ヘッドフォンで耳を澄ますと会場音響にも気づきますが、それが恐ろしく透き通っており、濁りや曇りがまったく感じられない。特に凄いのは高音。シンセの伸びは虚空へと伸びるレーザー光線のようであり、アルペジオも１音１音が会場に銀粉を振りまいたようにキラキラと輝き、静かに降り注ぐのです。
もちろん、高音だけが突き抜けているわけでもない。重低音も異様にくっきりとしていて、ベースのアタックには指の角度が感じられるほどに詳細で、ヴァイヴも波形レベル。ニックのドラムにしても然り。バスドラもスネアも実に肉感的で、皮の振動を感じる凄まじさ。『LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT』のリッチな鳴りまでもがパーフェクトでしたが、サウンドボード的なクリアさでは本作こそが北米No.1。現場となった“The Tabernacle”は築108年の伝統会場なのですが、むしろ最新建築と言われた方がしっくりくる。実のところ、極ささやかな会話声を吸い込んでいるために永久保存化は見送られたものの、演奏音はまさしくプレス級。これまでの諸作で証明されてきた通り……いえ、これだけの連作リリースが可能な時点でSAUCERFUL OF SECRETSは異常な次元の名録音量産プロジェクトなわけですが、本作その中でも特別な１本となる名録音なのです。
しかも、今回の北米ツアーで頂点的という事は、SAUCERFUL OF SECRETSの頂点にも直結する。これまで繰り返しご紹介してきましたが、今回のツアーは昨年を上回る最大セット。新ネタ「Remember A Day」「Childhood’s End」も導入し、持ちうるレパートリーをすべて注ぎ込んだショウを披露しているのです。しかも、その構成は３公演目にして固まり、その後はただひたすら練度を上げている。「最新のSAUCERFUL OF SECRETSが最高のSAUCERFUL OF SECRETS」という状態なのです。さらに付け加えるなら、スケジュールも良い影響を及ぼしているかも知れません。上記の日程をご覧の通り、本作アトランタ公演の前後日にはショウがなく、しかも移動距離もそれほどではない。移動しながら一息入れ、明日の心配もない。そのせいか（それともクリアすぎるサウンドのせいか）アンサンブルもいつもより思い切りの良い勢いまで感じるのです。
ロック史でも類のない名録音異常事態となっているSAUCERFUL OF SECRETS。これだけ連作している中でも特別と言い切れる極上ライヴアルバムです。『LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT』と共に「まずはコレ」と言える銘品中の銘品。完全コレクションを目指す方はもちろん、これから初体験する方にも全力でお薦めしたいライヴアルバムです。
