Miles items are now available from this label “Stargazers”, which also supports the creation of bonus discs for “Voodoo Down”, the label that is currently attracting attention as the highest peak of Miles Davis’ collector’s label.
The sound source that corresponds to the first day of the tour in 1983. It is a wonderful sound source that was recorded very well while recording the audience. Recorded with the latest remastering from a master whose pitch has been adjusted in recent years. From the first shot, the masterpiece “BACK SEAT BETTY” recorded in “The Man with the Horn” has appeared. The band formation is almost the same as “The Man with the Horn”, and it is shown from the same album as “AIDA” and “FAT TIME”. The last “JEAN PIERRE” is not a complete recording, but please enjoy this sound source that was reborn as a 2022 version.
現在マイルス・デイヴィスのコレクターズ・レーベル最高峰として注目を集めているレーベル、”ヴードゥー・ダウン”のボーナス・ディスク作成などサポートもしている本レーベル“スターゲイザーズ”よりマイルスのアイテムが登場です。
1983年のツアー初日にあたる音源。オーディエンス収録ながら非常に良く録れた素晴らしい音源です。近年ピッチ調整されたマスターから最新のリマスタリングを施し収録。一発目から“The Man with the Horn”収録の名曲『BACK SEAT BETTY』が登場。バンド編成も“The Man with the Horn”とほぼ同じで、『AIDA』、『FAT TIME』と同アルバムから披露されています。最後『JEAN PIERRE』こそ完全収録ではありませんが、2022年ヴァージョンとして生まれかわった本音源をお楽しみください。
