Recorded the Pembroke Pines performance on September 1st from the North American tour in the summer of ’71!
A new source of great attention by the excavation team “The Dogs of Doom” who is familiar with various new sound sources and upgraded sound sources in recent years!
The performance location is Pembroke Pines, but the venue name is Hollywood Sportatorium, which seems confusing, but that is a trivial story. A valuable new source is here again. Moreover, a fascinating summer tour of ’71!
It was digitized directly from a monaural Aud recording cassette, with many cuts, and it is regrettable that dropdowns occur frequently in “Dazed And Confused” and “Stairway-“, but the sound quality itself is reasonable. Definitely a “listening” sound.
In addition, due to this excavation, “Thank You” of the SB sound source recording title “Florida Sunshine” (Orlando, August 31, 1971) of the already-released EVSD may actually be the performance of this September 1st performance of Pembroke Pines. It turned out and became a hot topic among fans.
The live on August 31st had an Aud sound source and was made into a CD, but since “Thank You” was not recorded in the Aud sound source, the Aud sound source of the performance on September 1st appeared this time. , This fact was revealed.

By the way, since this new sound source has many cuts as mentioned above, the total recording time is about 78 minutes, which is the amount of one CD, but this time it is made into a CD in two versions by remastering.

Phase correction, rotation unevenness, volume, etc. are corrected in the same way for both the first and second sheets.
On top of that, Disc 1 is a mastering that makes the best use of the characteristics of the original sound source, and the EQ processing is a modest mastering with only a slight correction in the high range. Originally recorded on a stereo tape with a monaural microphone, mastering that respects that as well.

Disc2 is completely mono-mixed with a monaural mix, and then EQ-processed mainly in the midrange. The original rugged texture has been eliminated, and it is clearer and easier to pull out. Also, by making it completely monolithic, it seems that the ease of listening is slightly improved because there is no left-right shaking at the time of drop-down in the above-mentioned “DAZED-” and “Stairway-“.

With limited numbering, the specifications are stamped on the back of the jacket.
The CD label is now available on the permanent edition of the picture disc!

’71年夏の北米ツアーより9月1日ペンブロークパインズ公演を収録！
近年さまざまな新音源やアップグレード音源でおなじみの発掘チーム「The Dogs of Doom」による、大注目の新ソース!
公演地はPembroke Pines(ペンブロークパインズ)ですが、会場名はHollywood Sportatoriumというのがなんともややこしい感じですが、そんな事は些細な話。貴重な新ソースがまたもやここに登場。しかも魅力的な71年夏のツアー！
モノラルAud録音のカセットからダイレクトにデジタル化されたもので、カットが多く、さらに「Dazed And Confused」、「Stairway-」ではドロップダウンが頻発するのは惜しまれますが、音質そのものはまずまずであり、間違いなく「聞ける」サウンド。
なお、今回の発掘により、既発EVSDのSB音源収録タイトル「Florida Sunshine」(71年8月31日Orlando)の「Thank You」が、実はこの9月1日ペンブロークパインズ公演の演奏であることも判明し、ファンの間では話題に。
8月31日のライブはAud音源も存在しCD化もなされていましたが、Aud音源には「Thank You」が未収録であったため、今回9月1日公演のAud音源が登場したことで、この事実が判明したというもの。

さてこの新音源、前述のとおりカットが多いため、全収録時間でも78分ほどでCD1枚の分量ですが、今回はリマスターによる2種類のバージョンでCD化がなされております。

1,2枚目ともに位相修正と回転ムラ、音量等は同様に補正。
その上でDisc1は元音源の特性をなるべく生かしたマスタリングで、EQ処理は高域の若干の補正に留めた控え目なマスタリング。元々ステレオテープにモノラル・マイク録りされていますので、それも尊重したマスタリング。

Disc2は改めてモノラルミックスが施され完全にモノ化したうえで、中域を中心にEQ処理。元々あったゴワッとした質感が解消され、スッキリと抜けがよくなっております。また完全モノ化したことで、先述の「DAZED-」や「Stairway-」でのドロップダウン時の左右の揺れがない分、若干ながら聞きやすさが向上してるのではないでしょうか。

限定ナンバリング入りで、ジャケ裏面にスタンプされた仕様。
CDラベルはピクチャーディスクの永久仕様の愛蔵盤で登場です！
