Speaking of “South America in 1994”, it is a big classic at the end of the no-makeup era. All 8 performances above. Five of them were also performances in Buenos Aires. The first day (September 3) is famous for the sound board name board “BUENOS AIRES 1994 DAT MASTER” and professional shots. On the other hand, this work was a concert corresponding to “second day (September 5th)”.
This “2nd day (September 5th)” is also famous for its radio broadcasts, and its FM soundboard has reigned as a great standard that has produced many previous releases. While this work is the same sound board, it is a new excavation master that updates its longest and highest peak. As you know if you have noticed this article, our shop introduces the masters of the original route one after another, but this work is the latest bullet.
“First, the sound.” As a type, it is clearly a direct connection to the mix desk, and the rough performance sound is poured into the ear with the bareness, and the stereo feeling that pans in a fierce width is also vivid. However, although such individuality was already familiar, the natural feeling is different. Even if you say “conventional master” in one word, there are various generations on the market, but even young generations were thin due to intense noise reduction and the details were distorted. On the other hand, this work of the new excavation master is the highest peak sound that is natural up to the ringing on top of the young generation.

At the next show of the big hit “BUENOS AIRES 1994 DAT MASTER”, this work is also the longest and highest peak master outflow of the same stakeholders. The conventional version lacked the beginning of “Lick It Up”, “I Love It Loud”, “Black Diamond”, “Rock and Roll All Nite” and the MC of “Unholy”, and the sound was intensely noise-reduced, This work has no such flaws. “Got To Choose”, which cannot be heard on “BUENOS AIRES 1994 DAT MASTER” the day before, is also a pleasure board that pours a delicious full show directly into the brain.

The main press 2CD is the longest and highest peak leaked master, and it is a definitive edition that can be said to be the sequel to the masterpiece “BUENOS AIRES 1994 DAT MASTER”. As a bonus to celebrate the birth of such a new masterpiece, we have prepared a video work that teaches us the “other side” of the live album.
That’s why this work contains the same “Buenos Aires performance on September 5, 1994” as the main press 2CD. It is the superb view audience shot. However, it is not just an audience video. It is an upgraded version that synchronizes the radio broadcast stereo sound board sound.
If you’re an avid collector, you may have come to the right place, but this work was very well received as DISC 2 of “MONSTERS OF ROCK BUENOS AIRES 1994 (Shades 1694)”. The video captured from the back of the venue with a single camera allows you to see all points of the stage as much as you want without any obstructions, and the camera work that follows the highlights with a sharp sense of stability without camera shake is using a tripod or the venue’s setup camera. I can’t help but think. As expected, the image quality is South American quality, but it is an “unusual image” that can only be thought of as a shot of the person concerned.
And what’s more, it’s amazing that the sight is so rare. Please refer to the main commentary for the set list that also shows “Got To Choose”, but the shocking thing that is unique to the video is “Paul Stanley in a ponytail”! Even in the 50-year history of KISS, Paul’s ponytail was confirmed only twice (the other time was the “September 15” performance, 10 days after this work). To be honest, it’s so uncomfortable that I think, “Who is this?”
It’s been more than a quarter of a century since they put on makeup again. Currently, it is valuable just without makeup, but this work allows you to enjoy a super rare full show from a special seat perspective. It is a video version where you can see the scenery that spreads “on the other side” of the main press 2CD, and this work itself is one of the most valuable images in the entire history of KISS.
