Finally reunited, original KISS revival! “ALIVE/WORLDWIDE Tour” that spread the shock of the world. The best professional shot that revived that excitement realistically is now available.
Such a work was filmed “Toledo performance on April 12, 1997”. It is the multi-camera pro shot. Speaking of the pro shot of “ALIVE / WORLDWIDE Tour”, the Detroit performance formalized by “KISSOLOGY VOLUME THREE” is famous, and “ROCK AM RING 1997 (Shades 1283)” is also a big standard at our shop. What is the position of this work in such a situation? First of all, let’s check while overlooking the whole world tour of the century that shook the whole world.

This is the “ALIVE/WORLDWIDE Tour” realized in 1996/1997. The official Detroit video is quite early, and “ROCK AM RING 1997” is the opposite final stage. The Toledo performance of this work is “North America # 3”, which is close to the latter in terms of time while being in the home country America. It was a concert corresponding to the 17th performance.
This work, which conveys such a show, is a super-superb master of the outflow system. There are actually various types of “pro shots” in one word, but this work is (probably) a video for the on-site screen. A lot of screen shots are used so that even the audience far from the stage can enjoy the appearance of the members. Between songs is easier to understand. If it is a common broadcast pro shot, it is about to lick the appearance of a large crowd, but this work becomes pitch black and only MC flows. As a matter of fact, the officialized Detroit video is also of this type, but this work has a stronger sense of outflow. The official Detroit can hear the audience cheering in response to MC, but this work is like a distant ripple.
Of course, this is a matter of personality, not superiority or inferiority. The screen image has a taste different from the normal pro shot, and you can fully enjoy the ups of each member. Not to mention the make-up Paul’s expression and Ace’s rocket solo, especially Gene is amazing. Tongue licking, facial tricks, blood spitting, erotic and violent hips are projected on the screen full of dodeca. Scenes that broadcast producers would be too vulgar to show off are shown with a powerful force that breaks through the limits.
And the greatest thing is the master freshness. Perhaps it’s a digital clone of the screen image. There are no dubbing marks or deterioration marks, and it is an ultra-clear visual beauty that directly connects the concert venue and home across time and space.
What is drawn in such a super real pro shot is the full show of the “ALIVE / WORLDWIDE Tour” that made the whole world dreamy. Although the set is the ultimate Greatest Hits, it is actually slightly different from the official Detroit video and “ROCK AM RING 1997”. Let’s organize them by comparing them here.

… and it looks like this. In the later tours, we prepared some unusual songs to breathe new life into it, but the “ALIVE/WORLDWIDE Tour” is simply the “resurrection of the original”. It summarizes the 70’s with “KISS” and “DESTROYER” as two axes. Its concentration is tremendous, and it is exactly “the best board to see with your eyes” and “moving greatest hits”.
The re-makeup KISS is still going on, but it’s been less than 5 years since the original 4 people got together. Among them, only the “ALIVE / WORLDWIDE Tour” was 100% purely devoted to the “revival of the 70’s”. A one-of-a-kind tour that recreated the golden age of everyone in their mid-40s. Please enjoy this work to the fullest.
★ Multi-camera pro shot of “April 12, 1997 Toledo Performance”. It is a video for the on-site screen, and it is a type that uses a lot of pull-ups so that even the audience far from the stage can enjoy the appearance of the members. Not only Paul’s make-up expression and Ace’s rocket solo, but also Gene’s facial art, blood spitting, and violent hips are projected on the screen. You can fully enjoy the full show of “ALIVE / WORLDWIDE Tour”, which is different from the official Detroit video and “ROCK AM RING 1997” such as “Beth”, “C’mon And Love Me”, “New York Groove”.
