Big incident! A complete first appearance of a golden age soundboard that was not even known to exist until now!! Two shocking titles that are sure to shock collectors around the world will be released at the same time!
These two works are neither online releases nor upgrades. A new excavation sound source of “DYNASTY Tour” brought from its own route. This work is a powerful sound board recording of “Atlanta performance on June 30, 1979” which will be the first step. Even if you say “DYNASTY Tour” in one word, if you look closely, it is divided into three, and the two works this time are at different times. First of all, let’s take a look at the entire activity in 1979 and check the position of the show.

This is the whole picture of the “DYNASTY” era. It was the last tour of the original era, but the Atlanta performance of this work is the beginning of such an end. It was a concert that was the 8th performance of “North America # 1”.
This show is known for its audience recordings, but this work is completely different. It is a complete first sound board recording. The fact alone is shocking, but the quality is also shocking. It is a real sound board directly connected to the mix table where you can hardly hear the big cheers, and the thick core attacks the brain without hesitation, and the little effects are also exciting. Unlike official products and FM broadcasts that are intended for home audio playback, the on-site mix is ​​discharged from the speakers completely unprocessed.
Of course, its freshness is an irreplaceable attraction for soundboard enthusiasts. There are various real pleasures of live albums such as “concert experience” and “live performance”, but if the highest peak of the former is audience recording, the top of the latter is limited to the outflow sound board. Although this work is monaural, the taste of such a “raw sound board” is the last impact sound.
The original KISS final “DYNASTY Tour” is drawn with such a close-knit sound. A commercial promoting “July 24th/25th, 1979, Madison Square Garden Performance”, in which each of the four people commented instead of music. As mentioned above, “DYNASTY Tour” is the last tour of the 70’s with four people. Considering that fact, it is a deeply emotional and historical CM.

今回の２作品はネット公開でもなければ、アップグレードでもない。独自ルートからもたらされた“DYNASTY Tour”の新発掘音源。本作はその第一弾となる「1979年６月30日アトランタ公演」の強力サウンドボード録音です。ひと口に“DYNASTY Tour”とは言っても細かく観ると３つに分かれていますし、今回の２作品はそれぞれ時期が違う。まずは1979年の活動全容を俯瞰してショウのポジションを確かめてみましょう。

これが『DYNASTY』時代の全体像。オリジナル時代最後のツアーだったわけですが、本作のアトランタ公演はそんな終わりの始まり。「北米#1」の８公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
このショウはオーディエンス録音が残された事で知られていますが、本作はまったくの別物。完全初登場のサウンドボード録音なのです。その事実だけで衝撃的なのですが、クオリティもショッキング。大歓声もほとんど聞こえないミックス卓直結系の本生サウンドボードでして、極太な芯が遠慮会釈なく脳内に突撃し、ちょっとしたエフェクトも豪快。家庭用オーディオでの再生を念頭に置いたオフィシャル品やFM放送とは異なり、現場ミックスが完全無加工なままスピーカーから吐き出されてくるのです。
もちろん、その生々しさはサウンドボード・マニアにとっては何物にも代え難い魅力。「コンサートの体験感」や「生演奏の凄味」などライヴアルバムの醍醐味は様々なわけですが、前者の最高峰がオーディエンス録音だとすれば、後者のてっぺんは流出サウンドボードに限る。本作はモノラルではあるものの、そんな「ムキ出し生サウンドボード」の旨みが前回の衝撃サウンドなのです。
そんな超ド密着サウンドで描かれるのは、オリジナルKISS最後となった“DYNASTY Tour”の本生。残念ながら不完全収録ではあるものの、よく見ると同時リリースの『KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD（Zodiac 549）』では聴けない曲もあったりする。ここで比較しながら整理しておきましょう。

……と、このようになっています。『KNOXVILLE 1979』では録音漏れとなっていた「Beth」も美味しいですが、やはり最大のポイントは『ALIVE II』以降のレパートリー。『DYNASTY』の新曲「I Was Made for Lovin’ You」だけでなく、ポールの「Move On」やエースの「New York Groove」といった1978年ソロ・シリーズの名曲群も披露される。特にジーンの「Radioactive」は“DYNASTY Tour”でもごく一部のショウでしか演奏しておらず、『KNOXVILLE 1979』でも聴けないレア曲なのです。
そんな新発掘サウンドボードだけでも胸アツなのですが、本作はさらに1979年の薫り満載な激レア音源もボーナス収録。“1979年７月24日／25日マディソン・スクエア・ガーデン公演”を宣伝するCMで、音楽ではなく４人がそれぞれコメントを寄せているもの。前述した通り、“DYNASTY Tour”は４人が揃った70年代最後のツアー。その事実を踏まえると何とも感慨深い歴史的なCMなのです。
音源自体が貴重な“DYNASTY Tour”を伝える衝撃の初登場サウンドボードです。長さの面では２枚組の『KNOXVILLE 1979』には及びませんが、それを補って余りアルレア曲も美味しい１枚。初登場の衝撃を永遠に刻みつけるプレスCDで緊急リリース決定です！
