そんな本作が吹き込まれたのは「2023年９月１日」。その端麗オーディエンス録音です。実のところ詳細は定かではないのですが、まずは来日スケジュールと照らし合わせてショウのポジションを探ってみましょう。

そして、そのサウンドが絶品。決してサウンドボードと間違えるようなタイプではないのですが、それは欠点ではなく美点。狭い会場の密室感がリアルに感じられるオーディエンス録音で、目を閉じるとアコースティック・ギターを抱えたリヴィングストンやピアノで弾き語るカーラの姿をすぐ側に感じられる。その素朴なアンサンブルは機微まで鮮明に伝わりつつ、絶妙なホール鳴りが「暖かみ」と「降り注ぎ感」を宿らせている。まさに「現場に居合わせている」という現実感が美味しいのです。
