Live recording of John Zorn’s performance at the 2023 Big Years Music Festival. At this festival, John Zorn participated in many groups, including the unit he himself supervised, and it was truly a great success. Among them, this title is a compilation recording of the stages where he himself is performing. It’s a fairly freaky blow and avant-garde performance, recommended for those who like free jazz. Good sound quality enough to buy remastering at once while listening to the audience recording sound source. The stage recorded on Disc 2 is a secret set that was decided just before, not what was scheduled for the festival program from the beginning.

ジョン・ゾーンの2023年ビッグ・イヤーズ・ミュージック・フェスティヴァルでの演奏を収めたライヴ音源です。このフェスではジョン・ゾーンは自身が監督を務めるユニットも含め多数のグループで参加しており、まさに縦横無尽の大活躍。その中で、自身が演奏をしているステージを集めコンピレーション収録したのが本タイトルです。かなりフリーキーなブロウでアヴァンギャルドな演奏で、フリー・ジャズ系が好みの人にお勧めです。オーディエンス収録音源ながらリマスタリングも一躍買って充分な良好音質。ディスク2収録のステージは初期からフェスティヴァル・プログラムに予定されていたものではなく直前に決まったシークレット・セットです。
