The latest “THE FUTURE PAST World Tour”, which is in progress with great acclaim. Introducing a set of 3 masterpieces that you can fully experience with a powerful “feeling in front of you” like never before.
This work contains two superb audience records of one show. This is a 3-disc set with the clear recording of “Amsterdam performance on July 11, 2023” on DISC 1-2 and the powerful video on DISC 3. First of all, as usual, let’s organize our collection while overlooking the whole tour.

This is the ongoing “THE FUTURE PAST Tour”. The Amsterdam performance of this work is the 22nd performance after all 37 times. So far, we have introduced live albums and videos individually, but this work is the first set. Each one is an audience record by a different person, and it is a moving movement that impresses with a real sense of the scene. Now, let’s introduce each of them.

[DISC 1-2: Clear recording from the balcony seats] The first to appear is the main full live album. The point is a clear sound with a good view recorded from the balcony seats on the second floor. To be honest, it is not a close contact that can be mistaken for a sound board, and it does not threaten the best recording position that “BIRMINGHAM 2023 (Shades 1807)” boasts. However, because it is on the second floor, the core without shields and wraparound reaches straight, and the arena’s enthusiasm burns the performance sound and vocals from below. Thanks to this three-dimensional effect, audience noise does not come in between the performance sound while enjoying the excitement of the scene with plenty of scale.
There are 10 different things people want from a live album, such as “live music,” “another take on stage tension,” and “re-experience the mood of the venue”. This album is a type of album where you can enjoy “a group of famous songs that are tense up with a big chorus and enthusiasm”.

[DISC 3: Powerful shot where the stage is approaching in front of you] Following this realistic live album is an even more impressive video. From the shooting position, it is powerful, right in front of the center of the stage. Near the front is a standing area, so I can’t say it’s “X row”, but I would say it’s about 5 meters to the camera pit. Moreover, attack aggressively with a bold zoom from there. Bruce Dickinson and Eddie are about the rice cake theory, and the guitarists who come out in front of the solo are also a sense.
What is even more surprising is the sense of stability. This photographer is the type who cares about the big chorus and the excitement of the audience, and sometimes looks around. Then you can see the audience in a state of being pushed around, but when the camera turns to the stage, such frenzy is stable like a lie. To be honest, the big chorus sometimes goes beyond the blues due to the enthusiasm (also DISC 1-2 to follow it), but while experiencing the front that everyone envy, the visibility is It is also a mysterious shot that is easy to see like a professional shot.
And the scenes before and after the performance will further enhance the experience. In this work, the scene from arriving at the venue to the start of the performance (THE RAVEN AGE on the undercard will also appear) is recorded for about 9 minutes and after the performance for about 14 minutes. The unique mood of waiting for the performance to begin with excitement, the excitement of making friends with strangers on the spot, and after the performance, crowds rushing to the merchandise store asking for a change of clothes, and the fans rushing out into the darkened night town. …… It really makes me feel like I experienced a full show on site (BGM seems to be stiff to cover “Infinite Dreams” and “Weekend Warrior” without songs, but where did you get the instrumental version in the first place? I wonder if they put it in. Did you make it yourself with AI??).

Every time I read the latest report, I always want to experience it myself, but so far there has never been a title that can stir up the feeling of “Watch the latest Maiden!” The pure audio masterpiece must be “BIRMINGHAM 2023”, but this work is a masterpiece that gives you a different dimension of excitement and craving. A super experience set of a full video of the front seat that makes your hands sweat and a live album that you can fully immerse yourself in. Please enjoy it to the fullest!

これが現在進行中の“THE FUTURE PAST Tour”。本作のアムステルダム公演は、全37回中折り返しを過ぎた22公演目にあたります。これまでライヴアルバムと映像を個別にご紹介してきましたが、本作は初のセット。それぞれに別人によるオーディエンス記録でして、何ともリアルな現場感が胸を打つ感動作なのです。それでは、早速それぞれご紹介していきましょう。

【DISC 1-2：バルコニー席からのクリア録音】
まず登場するのは、メインとなるフル・ライヴアルバム。ポイントなのは、２階バルコニー席から記録された見渡しの良いクリア・サウンド。正直なところサウンドボードと間違えるようなド密着感ではありませんし、『BIRMINGHAM 2023（Shades 1807）』が誇るベスト録音の座を脅かしもしない。しかし、２階席だからこそ遮蔽物や回り込みのない芯がストレートに届き、その演奏音やヴォーカルをアリーナの熱狂が下から炙る。この立体感のお陰で現場の盛り上がりをスケール感たっぷり味わえつつ、オーディエンス・ノイズが演奏音との間に入ってこないのです。
ライヴアルバムに求めるものは十人十色で「生演奏による音楽作品」「ステージテンションの別テイク」「会場ムードの追体験」など様々。本作はさしずめ、「大合唱と熱狂でテンションアップした名曲群」を楽しむタイプのアルバムです。

【DISC 3：ステージが目の前に迫るド迫力ショット】
そんなリアル系ライヴアルバムに続くのは、さらに感動的なド迫力映像。撮影ポジションからして強力で、ステージ中央の真ん前。最前付近はスタンディング・エリアになっているので「○列目」とは言えないのですが、カメラピットまでおおよそ５メートルと言ったところでしょうか。しかも、そこから果敢なズームで攻めに攻める。ブルース・ディッキンソンやエディは餅論のこと、ソロを執りに前に出てくるギタリスト達も目の前感覚なのです。
さらに驚きなのは安定感。この撮影者は大合唱や観客の盛り上がりも大事にするタイプで時々辺りを見渡す。すると押しくら饅頭状態の観客が目に入るのですが、カメラがステージを向くとそんな狂乱がウソのようにビシッと安定している。正直なところ、あまりの熱狂に大合唱が時たまブルースを超えてしまったりもする（それをフォローするためのDISC 1-2でもあります）のですが、誰もが羨む最前付近を体験しつつ、視界はまるでプロショットのように見やすいという不思議ショットでもあるのです。
そして、そんな体験感をさらにアップさせてくれるのは開演前／終演後シーン。本作では会場に到着してから開演までのシーン（前座のTHE RAVEN AGEもちょろっと登場します）を約９分間、終演後を約14分間にわたって長ーく収録している。興奮しながら開演を待つ独特なムード、その場で知らない人とどんどん友達になって盛り上がる終演後、着替えを求めて群衆が押し寄せるグッズ売り場、そしてすっかり暗くなった夜の街に繰り出していくファン達……本当にフルショウを現場体験したような気持ちにさせてくれるのです（BGMには歌ナシの「Infinite Dreams」や「Weekend Warrior」を被せるという凝りようなのですが、そもそもインスト版をどこから手に入れたのかもナゾ。AIで自作したのでしょうか??）。

最新レポートの度に実体験したくなるものですが、ここまで「最新メイデンが観てぇ！」「THE FUTURE PASTよ、日本に来いや!!」の気持ちを掻き立てられるタイトルはありませんでした。ピュア・オーディオ的な最高傑作は『BIRMINGHAM 2023』に違いありませんが、本作はそれとは次元の違う感動と渇望を与えてくれる大傑作なのです。手に汗握る前方席のフル映像と、じっくりと浸りきれるライヴアルバムの超体験セット。どうぞ、存分に味わい尽くしてください！
