Eric Clapton successfully completed his 23rd Japan performance for the first time in four years. At our shop, we have achieved a super-fast release in all of the performances in Japan so far, and many fans are pleased. All performances seem to be satisfied only with the release using the original stereo audience master of high sound quality that responds to the trust of everyone. Well, this time it will be the super-fast release of the high-quality sound source on April 22nd! It’s a quick job to deliver the sound source of the last Saturday’s performance on this Friday! Of course, this work is also our original master. Due to the convenience of speed release priority, it will be released on CDR, but the content is a high-quality sound source comparable to the value of the press board. The position where the recording was made was at Budokan 2F stand southeast E35, which is a little far from the stage, but it was a high-quality recording using the highest-grade, highest-sensitivity microphone called Sohoeps MK41, so it was recorded with a very clear and powerful sound. (Although it is too powerful and there are some places where Cocaine is a little over-input). This gives you more than just a fast release, it’s a satisfying experience. For those of you who couldn’t come to the Budokan this time, please relive the final performance with this work!
[Here is the full picture of the performance on the 5th day when the performance has become familiar! ]This 5th day performance was a performance that was held on the day after April 21, the day after Clapton’s “100th Budokan Memorial Performance”. Since the performances on the 2nd and 3rd days of the previous day were also consecutive performances, there was a situation where Clapton’s play, which remained tired, was not very clear at the beginning of the 3rd day performance, so the fatigue of the previous day remained on this day as well. I was worried about whether or not there would be. However, from the opening, you can hear a reasonably good ad-lib play that is not a “giri” mistone. Except for the theme phrase in these 5 days, it is truly Clapton that he does not play the same as one, does not devote himself to mediocre play! There is no other way. There is no forgetting to step on the wah at the beginning of Pretending, and even in the aftermath of the highlight song I Shot The Sheriff in the first half, there are no mistakes, and sometimes thrilling fast-playing phrases are played. This solo is great. Before Sam Hall’s song in the acoustic set, Clapton did not comment anything on this day and suddenly started the song. It seems that the tribute to Jeff Beck has already been shared with the audience. When I listen to it in this way, I think that the performance has been improved on this day, Clapton himself can relax, and I think that he has shown a play quality higher than the average. The last of the regular set was Cocaine on this day as well, but the solo while stepping on the wah in the middle was quite impressive. Clapton is still good. Clapton who showed a wonderful performance without showing fatigue. I can’t take it off even today. Please enjoy the whole picture with the wonderful sound quality of this work.

4年振り23度目の日本公演を成功裏に終了したエリック・クラプトン。当店ではここまで今回の日本公演すべてにおいて超速リリースを実現し、多くのファンの方に喜ばれております。全公演、皆様からのご信頼に応える高音質のオリジナルステレオ・オーディエンスマスターを使用してのリリースだけに、ご満足いただけているようです。さて、今回は4月22日の高音質音源の超速リリースとなります！ついこの前の土曜日の公演の音源をもうこの金曜にお届けするという早業です！もちろん本作も当店のオリジナルマスターです。スピードリリース優先という都合上、CDRでのリリースとなりますが、その内容はプレス盤の価値にも匹敵する高音質音源です。録音されたポジションは武道館2Fスタンド南東E35という少しステージからは遠い座席ながら、Sohoeps MK41という最高級最高感度のマイクを使用しての高音質録音ですので、非常にクリアで迫力のあるサウンドで収録されています（迫力があり過ぎて、Cocaineでは若干入力過剰気味な箇所もありますが）。これにより、ただ速いだけのリリースではない、十分な満足感をご提供します。今回、武道館に来れなかった地方の皆さん、本作で終盤の公演を追体験してください！
【演奏がこなれてきた5日目公演の全貌がここに！】
この5日目公演は、クラプトンの「武道館100回記念公演」に当たった4月21日の翌日に連続して行われた公演でした。先般の2日目、3日目公演も連続公演だったため、3日目公演の序盤では疲れの残ったクラプトンのプレイがイマイチ冴えないという事態もありましたので、この日も前日の疲れが残ってはいないかが不安視されるところでした。ところが、オープニングから「ギリ」ミストーンではない、まずまず達者なアドリブプレイが聴かれます。この5日間でテーマフレーズを除き、一つとして同じプレイをしない、凡庸なプレイに徹しないというのは、さすがクラプトン！という他ありません。Pretending冒頭でのワウの踏み忘れもないですし、前半のハイライト曲I Shot The Sheriffの後奏でもミストーンなく、時にスリリングな速弾きフレーズを交えて弾き切っています。このソロの出来は素晴らしいです。アコースティックセットでのSam Hallの曲前には、この日もクラプトンは何もコメントせず、いきなり曲を始めました。ジェフ・ベックへの追悼の意思は、既にオーディエンスと共有済みと考えているようです。こうして聴いてきますと、この日は演奏もこなれてきて、クラプトン自身もリラックスでき、アベレージ以上のプレイクオリティを示したのではないかと思います。レギュラーセットのラストはこの日もCocaineでしたが、中間のワウを踏みながらのソロはかなりの迫力でした。やはりクラプトンは上手いです。疲れも見せず、素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せてくれたクラプトン。この日もはずせません。本作の素晴らしい音質で是非全貌をご堪能ください。
