[A special performance that general fans cannot see, and a special guest participation. The best master of 2011 also appeared! ]The second release from the first generation DAT master provided by British heavyweight Taper, who is familiar with Eric Clapton’s treasured sound source, is the sound source of the year-end special charity concert that has become familiar! This work is a complete recording of the charity concert held on December 31, 2011 at the community center of Walking, a rural town in Surrey, Clapton’s hometown, with the finest stereo audience recording. This concert was a charity event for AA (Alcoholics Anonymous Association) titled “New Year’s Eve Dance” that has been held every year since 1993. Originally, in 1982, Clapton, who participated in the “year-old live” held at a local pub by Gary Brooker, a band member at the time, liked this idea, and has been performed intermittently at the end of the year since then. What has been done became a regular event sponsored by Clapton in 1993, and has been established as “New Year’s Eve Dance”, which performs live twice on New Year’s Eve and on New Year’s morning with a break. This concert is to invite members of the “Alcoholic Anonymous Association”, of which Clapton is also a member, and their families for free, and it is presumed that general fans cannot see it. I was. It was also customary to announce in advance with a fictitious band name, and this year’s band name was “HALF MEASURES” (half size measurement? Is it a self-deprecating “useless”?). However, in this world there is a flip side to everything. Continuing from 1997 and 2007, the heavyweight taper successfully infiltrated using the usual strong connection and succeeded in stereo recording with the finest sound quality using advanced equipment (Both years’ superb recordings are “Woking It has already been released under the titles 1997 and ‘Woking 2007’. The master taper this time has the best sound quality that is unrivaled in terms of stereo and direct sound. Just listening to it a little makes me think it’s a soundboard recording. This event has a reputation for being rare only at this time with members and set lists, and it can be said that it is a maniac envy because it is a concert that general fans cannot enter. Moreover, this concert of this year had a thicker band sound. The reason is that in addition to Gary Brooker and Chris Stinton, a female keyboardist named Judy Blair participated. Judy Blair’s profile is briefly described as a keyboardist born in Texas, USA in 1948, moved to France in 1994, participated in numerous rock and jazz festivals, and released a solo album. am. She is friends with Gary Brooker, and the two have performed together in numerous concerts. It seems that he participated in this concert with Gary’s voice. She seems to be playing the organ, and you can hear her solo everywhere. On Rock Me Baby, she sings a duet vocal with Gary Brooker.
“Three keyboards.” Even on Clapton’s career, this system may have been the first time. Now, let’s review what 2011, when this concert was held here, had for Clapton.

As you can see, it was a year in which we performed a number of events and charity concerts at affiliated companies that reflected our wide range of personal connections, while properly conducting a world tour in line with the release of our new album. It was an activity situation that could only be described as energetic. After making all of the regular tours and irregular event appearances successful, we took a break and made it to this event at the end of the year. The members I chose for this concert were fellow British musicians, unlike when I was on tour. First of all, Chris Stinton, a regular member of the Clapton band, two female choruses, Andy Fairweather Row, Dave Bronze, Henry Spinetti, who can be said to be associate members, and Gary Brooker of Procol Harum, who is a close friend , and newcomer Judy Blair. The charm of the set list unique to this event. There was blues, rock and roll, soul standards, trad, Clapton hits, and more. There are many numbers featuring the two vocals, such as Unchain My Heart (famous for Joe Cocker) featuring Gary and Gin House featuring Andy. Solo play with such numbers that Clapton listens to is also excellent! Clapton’s solo at Gin House is still amazing (Travelin ‘Light is a different song with the same name as J.J. Cale’s number covered by Clapton, Cliff Richard’s UK No. 1 single song in 1959). BB King’s Rock Me Baby, nostalgic Willie And The Hand Jive, rare country numbers, Jambalaya, and more. Of course, you can listen to Brooker’s masterpiece “Whiter Shade Of Pale” with the best sound. Cocaine is an arrangement only for this time, where Clapton’s solo is excellent, and where it usually ends with Chris Stinton’s piano, perhaps it will be the finale with Judy Blair’s organ solo. It’s a lot of fun overall.
[Complete recording that shows the whole picture of the event! ]Although it is a heavyweight taper that has provided masters of many rare Clapton sound sources so far, the master of this work has the best sound quality among the five fingers. It is wonderful to capture the sound resounding in a narrow box like a community center in the countryside in a good position, and the announcement of the opening from the BGM before the performance of the first part, the BGM before the performance of the second part ~ the announcement of the opening, 2 From the countdown from the minute to the moment of the New Year, to the chorus of “Hotaru no Hikari” celebrating it, the whole thing is recorded without leaking. When I listen to this work, I sincerely think that I wanted to experience this warm and gorgeous concert at least once. I am grateful to the stalwart taper who delivered such a concert that we could not go to see with such reality. At the end of last year, I participated in this concert every year, and in memory of the late Gary Brooker, who died suddenly last year, a concert by Clapton & Friends was held for the first time in a while. “New Year’s Eve Dance” that I could enjoy because I had my best friend Gary. Like Clapton, who recalls that it was fun, I hope you will enjoy this work as if you were in it. Since it will be a limited press board from the finest masters that our shop has independently obtained, the quantity is limited. Please place your order as soon as possible.
