The whole concept “MAGICA” that hero Ronnie James Dio wanted a sequel until now. Introducing a full pro shot of the story stage that overflows with that spirit.
The multi-camera pro shot of “March 31, 2001 Buenos Aires performance” is included in this work. Yes, it is the video version / complete version of the live that was also adopted in the “MAGICA” deluxe edition. And it’s not just an official extension. Speaking of “MAGICA Tour”, it became a hot topic in the reproduction of the story album, but the only professional record that conveys the whole picture is the sound board album “HOLLYWOOD 2000 (Shades 1167)” of the Hollywood performance or this work. This is the only full-show recording of the show.

This is the 2000/2001 DIO. The tour started on the day of the release of “MAGICA”, and the aforementioned soundboard album “HOLLYWOOD 2000” was the 7th performance in the very early days. On the other hand, this work is the end of the tour where the story live is soaked in the body around the whole world. It was the second concert of the “South America” ​​leg.
Such a show has been known for TV broadcasting since that time, and as mentioned above, it has reigned as a standard enough to be officialized. This work is the same TV broadcast pro shot as before, but it is an upgrade master that was discovered only recently. Since it is a so-called “South American professional shot”, it cannot be said to be an official grade, but unlike the past, there are almost no dubbing marks, and the color development and stability are dramatically improved.
Moreover, this work further brushes up the new excavation master. Although the basic quality of the Net Master is good, there were some breaks in the sound, noise, and gaps between the video and sound. Of course, in this work, it is synchronized with each other, and the official sound board is also used. We made it possible to enjoy the full show as seamlessly and beautifully as possible.
The upgrade quality is drawn with a panoramic view of the story stage, which has been refined by stepping on the number of venues. The show was in the form of setting the “MAGICA” part in the middle stage and solidifying the front and back with classics. In the aforementioned “HOLLYWOOD 2000”, I could listen to all the MAGICA parts, but the classics part was incomplete. On the other hand, this work is a complete recording of a full show with no questions asked. Let’s organize it while comparing it with “HOLLYWOOD 2000” so that you can experience its amazing taste.

You can enjoy famous songs unique to Craig such as “Sunset Superman” and “All the Fools Sailed Away”, and even show off the surprisingly valuable “Neon Knights”. There may be some people who feel uncomfortable when it comes to reproducing “MAGICA”, but the classics are extremely delicious because they have returned to fantasy.
It is a masterpiece video with plenty of reenactment of the story album and masterpieces of fantasy return. This is the one and only full pro shot upgrade version of “MAGICA Tour”, and the complete / video version of the official work. Please enjoy it carefully.

英雄ロニー・ジェイムス・ディオが今際の際まで続編を望んでいたという、渾身のコンセプト『MAGICA』。その気迫が溢れ出す、物語ステージのフル・プロショットが登場です。
そんな本作に収められているのは「2001年３月31日ブエノスアイレス公演」のマルチカメラ・プロショット。そう、『MAGICA』デラックス・エディションにも採用されたライヴの映像版／完全版なのです。しかも、単に公式の拡張版というだけではない。“MAGICA Tour”と言えば、物語アルバムの再現でも話題になったわけですが、その全貌を伝えるプロ記録と言ったらハリウッド公演のサウンドボード・アルバム『HOLLYWOOD 2000（Shades 1167）』か本作しかなく、ショウのフルショウ収録は本作だけなのです。
ともあれ、そんな２大記録がどんなポジションにあったのか。ファンタジー回帰で湧いたワールド・ツアー全景から振り返ってみましょう。

これが2000年／2001年のDIO。『MAGICA』の発売当日からツアーを開始しており、前述のサウンドボード・アルバム『HOLLYWOOD 2000』は極初期の７公演目でした。それに対し、本作は全世界を巡って物語ライヴも身体に染みついたツアー終盤。「南米」レッグの２公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウは当時からTV放送が知られ、上記したようにオフィシャル化までされるほどの定番として君臨してきました。本作も従来と同じTV放送プロショットなのですが、ごく最近になって発掘されたアップグレード・マスターなのです。いわゆる“南米プロショット”ですのでオフィシャル級云々とは言えないのですが、従来とは違ってダビング痕がほとんどなく、発色も安定感も段違いに改善されている。
しかも、本作はその新発掘マスターをさらにブラッシュ・アップ。ネット・マスターは基本クオリティは良いものの、ところどころで音切れやノイズ、映像と音のズレも見受けられました。もちろん本作ではビシッとシンクロさせ、さらには公式サウンドボードも活用。可能な限りシームレスで美しいままフルショウを堪能できるようにしたのです。
そんなアップグレード・クオリティで描かれるのは、場数を踏んで練度を増した物語ステージの全景。ショウは『MAGICA』パートを中盤に据え、その前後をクラシックスで固める形式でした。前述の『HOLLYWOOD 2000』はMAGICAパートこそ全部聴けたものの、クラシックス・パートは不完全。それに対し、本作は問答無用のフルショウ完全収録なのです。その凄味を実感していただくためにも、『HOLLYWOOD 2000』と比較しながら整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。終盤の超名曲ラッシュまでたっぷり満点。「Sunset Superman」「All the Fools Sailed Away」といったクレイグならではの名曲も楽しめますし、意外と貴重な「Neon Knights」まで披露。『MAGICA』再現というと及び腰になってしまう方もいらっしゃるかも知れませんが、ファンタジーに回帰したからこそのクラシックスも極めて美味しいフルセットなのです。
物語アルバムの再現やファンタジー回帰の名曲群もたっぷりの名作映像です。“MAGICA Tour”で唯一無二のフル・プロショットのアップグレード盤にして、公式作の完全／映像版でもある１枚。どうぞ、じっくりとご堪能ください。
