The first full pro shot of the new DEEP PURPLE with Simon McBride is born! The long-awaited new standard DVD from the best master will be released urgently!
This work was filmed on “April 28, 2023: Performance in Buenos Aires”. It is a multi-camera pro shot when appearing in “MASTERS OF ROCK ARGENTINA”. It’s been a year since McBride joined. I announced that I would start working on a new studio work as soon as possible, but so far there is no full sound board or pro shot. This work is exactly the long-awaited first professional work. Since it is also a memorial release, let’s review the history of the new DEEP PURPLE once again with the audience video work so far.

This is the schedule for 2022/2023 that has been announced so far. The performance in Japan is also fresh in my memory, but the next place I visited was “South America”. The Buenos Aires performance of this work was the 6th concert.
Now. The full pro shot born from such a show is an official grade item. On certain video sites, etc., chopped images and compressed images of inferior quality have been uploaded, but this work is the best master that is different from them. The image quality is the best currently confirmed, and the length is about 91 minutes full scale. However, if you look at the current official standards, you can feel a little sweetness. Strictly speaking, is it just called “official class before the new corona disaster”?
“Anyway, the editing and camera work must be perfect professional work.” Such a long-awaited pro shot is a full show reborn with McBride’s passion guitar. If you have read this article, I think that the performance in Japan will be burned into your memory, but in fact, the manuscript set is similar to Japan, but it is different. … and it looks like this. “Nothing At All”, which had been played to Japan, was dropped, and “Into The Fire” was set. It is the first time in eight years that Kano’s masterpiece is played, and this day is the first day of the revival. Of course, it is the world’s first McBride version “Into The Fire”.
Simon McBride has excited the world with his straight-tone hard rock guitar reminiscent of Irish pioneers Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore, and has been received more enthusiastically than expected. It is a long-awaited piece that you can enjoy the true value of the new DEEP PURPLE with multi-camera pro shots. Roger Glover boasts that he should be able to release a new work by next year, but until then (probably) this work will be McBride Purple’s only professional work. そんな本作が撮影されたのは「2023年４月28日：ブエノスアイレス公演」。“MASTERS OF ROCK ARGENTINA”に出演した際のマルチカメラ・プロショットです。マクブライド加入からまる１年。早くも新作スタジオ作品に取りかかると公表しましたが、ここまではフルのサウンドボードもプロショットもなし。本作は、まさに待望の初プロ作品なのです。記念碑リリースでもありますので、これまでのオーディエンス映像作を交えつつ新生DEEP PURPLEの歩みを今一度おさらいしてみましょう。

これが現在までに公表されている2022年／2023年のスケジュール。来日公演も記憶に新しいところですが、その次に訪れたのが「南米」。本作のブエノスアイレス公演は、その６公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
さて。そんなショウから誕生したフル・プロショットは、オフィシャル級の銘品。某動画サイト等では細切れ映像や格落ちの圧縮映像がアップされていますが、本作はそれらとは異なるベスト・マスター。画質も現在確認されているベストですし、長さも約91分のフル・スケールなのです。もっとも現在のオフィシャル基準からするとやや甘みも感じなくはない。厳密に言えば「新型コロナ禍前のオフィシャル級」と言ったところでしょうか。
ともあれ、編集もカメラワークも完璧なプロ仕事には違いない。そんな待望のプロショットで画かれるのは、マクブライドの情熱ギターで生まれ変わったフルショウ。本稿に目を留められた方なら日本公演が記憶に焼きついていると思いますが、実は原稿セットは日本とは似て非なるもの。ここで比較しながら整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。日本まで演奏していた「Nothing At All」が落とされ、「Into The Fire」がセット入りしました。かの名曲が演奏されるのは８年ぶりであり、この日が復活の初日。もちろん、世界初のマクブライド版「Into The Fire」です。
アイルランドの先達ロリー・ギャラガーやゲイリー・ムーアを彷彿とさせる正調ハードロック・ギターで世界を沸かせ、予想以上に熱く迎えられているサイモン・マクブライド。新生DEEP PURPLEの真価をマルチカメラ・プロショットで味わえる待ちに待った１枚です。ロジャー・グローヴァーは「来年までに新作をリリースできるはず」と豪語しておりますが、それまでは（恐らく）本作がマクブライド・パープル唯一のプロ作品となることでしょう。これぞまさにオフィシャル代わりの絶対作。どうぞ、存分にご堪能ください！
