David Sylvian in 2001, who released the edited work “EVERYTHING AND NOTHING” that summarized various careers and came to Japan in the form of a band after a long time. Introducing a valuable masterpiece original recording that allows you to fully experience the scene.

Among the works of recorders that have become a hot topic recently, YES’s “SHIBUYA 1998 2ND NIGHT (Amity 634)” and “TOKYO 2003 2ND NIGHT (Amity 635)” have been well received, and BRAND X and others will be released at the same time this week. Brian Ferry was also the person who worked on it. This work has the latest version of Sylvian, and it is a new masterpiece that was the best masterpiece in the masterpiece collection at that time.

The neat and delicate sound is a taper of individuality, but this work has a strong core that reaches to break the thin skin of the sound probably because of the good position of “31 rows on the 1st floor”. 以上、全４公演。コンパクトに東名阪を巡るスケジュールであり、本作の中野公演はそのド真ん中。東京２公演目にあたるコンサートでした。その現場を真空パックした本作は、本邦初後期と鳴る極上レベルの名録音。最近話題となっている録音家の作品でして、YESの『SHIBUYA 1998 2ND NIGHT（Amity 634）』や『TOKYO 2003 2ND NIGHT（Amity 635）』が評判を呼び、今週同時リリースとなるBRAND Xやブライアン・フェリーも手掛けた人物なのです。本作はその最新弾となるシルヴィアン篇あり、当時に名手コレクションでも最高傑作となる新名盤なのです。
その要は、もちろん素晴らしいサウンド。端正できめ細やかな鳴りが個性のテーパーなのですが、本作は「１階31列」という好ポジションのせいか鳴りの薄皮を破るように届く芯も力強い。しかも、現場ではバンド全員がモニタースピーカーを使わずにヘッドフォンを使用していたそう。そのせいか、モニター音が一切紛れ込まないクリアな出力音が実現しているのです。
そして、そのクリアな出力音がホール鳴りによって一層美しくなっている。丸裸の芯にオーラのように透明感のある鳴りがまとわりついて艶とダイナミズムを演出し、しかもディテールも隠すことなく微細部まで鮮明。「オーディエンスならではの美しさ」が耽美な音世界やダンディな歌声をリッチに彩りつつ、スカスカ感が微塵もない。まるで磨き上げられたFM放送のよう……。美意識の高いシルヴィアンの出音と名録音家の技術が相まって生み出された美音なのです。
