The second installment in the Bakuon series, With The Beatles, contains four versions. A beautiful and loud UK blue box stereo and a Flashy remix that gives you a sense of the sprinting feel of the early Beatles live performances. And obviously a West German stereo LP using another master and a West German cassette mix that first appeared. In addition, it is a audible title that recorded Royal Variety Performance in MONO and STEREO.

Due to the significant evolution of remix technology in recent years, the remix of Beatles sound sources using that technology has become a boom. And around the year before last, various wonderful remix titles began to be released. Under such circumstances, we decided to release this explosive sound series by the GWW laboratory, but in the GWW laboratory,
・ First, stick to the original sound source before the remix.
・ Further clarify the task settings and remix (= Flashy Remix) brilliantly.
We have compiled the sound source so that everyone from young fans to deep fans can enjoy it.

The second in the series is “With The Beatles”. The original sound source that was particular about was recorded in a blue box made in England. This LP uses the original UK stamper, the quality of the vinyl is high, the midrange is very tight, and it is highly evaluated along with the MFSL board. Furthermore, using this source, we performed a Flash remix aiming to reproduce the realism of the live performance in the fresh hall of the early youthful Beatles. Be amazed by the sprinting feeling of “It Won’t Be Long” and “All My Loving”, and the power of “Money”.

Also, this time, the West German version of “With The Beatles” has been digitized along with LPs and cassettes. As many of you may know, the reason why the West German version is important is that two types of stereo master tapes were prepared for the home country of England and West Germany in 1963, and the West German version has a hi-hat “All My Loving”. Is recorded. It is also said that its freshness and loudness surpass those of the British edition. In addition, this time, the one that was made into a cassette for the first time in 1978 is also recorded. This also uses the West German stereo master at that time, but it is a ridiculous sound source that the left and right channels are reversed after rearranging the songs for the cassette in order. Thanks to that, it sounds like a different mix. Wouldn’t it be nice to hear this slightly metamorphic West German sound source on a tape source?

As a plus, “Royal Variety Performance” is recorded in mono and stereo. The mono sound source includes the master sound source released by the presiding foundation several years ago. The stereo sound source is not the sound source, but the one that has been researched and combined with multiple best sources to compile the longest version, and then converted to stereo by Flashy remix. The inside of the A5 pamphlet jacket is printed with the signatures of the four people written in the program of the Royal Variety Show. In addition, if you have a postcard with the original advertisement of “Please Please Me” + “With The Beatles” in your home country, this is a gem that you definitely want to pick up.

爆音シリーズ第2弾の『With The Beatles』には4つのバージョンが含まれています。綺麗でラウドと評価の高いUKブルーボックス・ステレオと、それを使ったビートルズ初期のライブの疾走感が感じられるFlashyリミックス。そして明らかに別マスターを使った西ドイツ・ステレオＬＰと初登場の西ドイツ・カセット・ミックス。さらに、ロイヤル・バラエティ・パフォーマンスをMONOとSTEREOで収録した聴きごたえあるタイトルです。

近年のリミックス技術の大幅な進化により、その技術を使ったビートルズ音源のリミックスがブームとなっております。そして一昨年あたりから各種の素晴らしいリミックス・タイトルがリリースされはじめました。そんな中でGWW実験室によるこの爆音シリーズをリリースすることとしたわけですが、GWW実験室では、
・まずリミックス前の大元の音源にこだわる
・さらに課題設定を明確にして煌びやかにリミックス（＝Flashy Remix）するという
という指向で若いファンからディープなファンまでみなさんが楽しめるよう音源を編纂しました。

シリーズ第２弾は、『With The Beatles』。こだわった大元の音源はイギリス製ブルーボックスに収録されたもの。このLPはオリジナルのUKスタンパーを用い、ビニールの質も高く、中音域が非常に詰まっており、MFSL盤と共に高く評価されています。さらにこのソースを用い、初期の若々しいビートルズのフレッシュなホールでのライブの臨場感の再現を目指してFlashリミックスを敢行。「It Won’t Be Long」、「All My Loving」での疾走感、そして「Money」のド迫力に驚いてください。

また今回は、西ドイツ盤の『With The Beatles』をLP、カセットと共にデジタル化。ご存じの方も多いかと思いますが、なぜ西ドイツ盤が重要かというと、ステレオマスターテープは本国イギリスと西ドイツ向けの２種類が1963年当時準備され、西ドイツ盤にはハイハット入りの「All My Loving」が収録されているのです。またその鮮度の高さ、ラウドさは本国イギリス盤を凌ぐとも言われています。さらに今回は1978年に初カセット化されたものも収録。こちらも当時の西ドイツ・ステレオ・マスターを使用しているのですが、カセット用の曲順に並び替えたうえで左右のチャネルを反転しているというとんでも音源。おかげでミックス違いにも聴こえてしまいます。この少し変態度の高い西ドイツ音源をテープ・ソースで聴けるなんて嬉しいではありませんか。

プラスとして『Royal Variety Performance』をモノとステレオで収録。モノ音源は、主宰財団が数年前に公開したマスター音源を収録。ステレオ音源は、その音源ではなく、リサーチを重ね複数の最良ソースを組み合わせて最長版を編纂し、その上でFlashyリミックスでステレオ化をはかったもの。「宝石じゃらじゃら」の歴史的ライブをモノ＋ステレオでお楽しみください。

A5のパンフレット仕様のジャケットの内側は、ロイヤルバラエティショーのプログラムに書かれた４人のサインをプリント。さらに本国イギリスの『Please Please Me』 + 『With The Beatles』オリジナル広告のポスト・カード付きとあればコレはぜひ手に取って欲しい逸品です。
