“GET BACK” became a phantom album after the release of the 1969 test press and jacket design was postponed. After that, the album “Let It Be” was released by Phil Spector in the following 70 years after the release of “Abbey Road”, which became the actual last album, and the Beatles disbanded. .. Against this background, the sound source of the earliest acetate master produced by Glyn Johns, which can be said to be the prototype of the phantom album “GET BACK”, will be broadcast on US radio stations. This is the first historical episode in which the unreleased sound source from the Get Back session was released to the world, and the earliest bootleg masterpiece “KUM BACK” will appear from that sound source. As for the process, in March 1969, a reel tape copied from the first acetate master by Glyn Johns was sent from Apple’s Derek Taylor to US radio DJ Tom Donahue. After that, it went into the hands of DJ Steven Seagal of Boston radio station WBCN-FM and monopolized this unreleased sound source ahead of rival stations. In addition to the sound source of the acetate master, the program also broadcasts a new song from “Abbey Road” that was just released at that time. The title of the historic radio program that was first discovered and recorded in the 90’s is “Posters Insense and Strobe Candles”. The DISC1 CD contains the radio program itself at that time, including DJ chat and commercials. With the latest remaster from the new sound source, the sound quality has been improved throughout the entire volume compared to past analog records and CDs. In addition, all the songs recorded in “Abbey Road”, which was simply playing the sound source from the record in the program, are recorded by replacing them with outtakes. In addition, a sound source that was not originally recorded has been added, and it is the latest augmented and revised version of 2022 of the original editing that is different from the past. The DVD of DISC2 mainly contains unreleased film footage that summarizes the unedited footage of the movie “Let It Be” that recorded the Get Back session. Except for the promotion video of the single “Get Back / Don’t Let Me Down”, it is an unedited video material with a mixture of black and white and color, so it is fragmentary from the beginning and has no sound and image quality deterioration, but the sound is newly added to the scene. Recorded by teleco with the combined stereo remastered sound source. You can see a valuable session that can not be seen in the movie with a restore restoration video of nearly 120 minutes. Introducing the latest special collector’s edition unique to the GOLDIES label by combining the full version CD of the historical radio program that released the unreleased Beatles sound source for the first time in 1969 and the unreleased film video DVD of the movie!

１９６９年テスト・プレスやジャケット・デザインまで制作されたもののリリースが見送られ幻のアルバムとなった『GET BACK』。その後、実質的なラスト・アルバムとなった『アビイ・ロード』を急遽発表し翌７０年になってフィル・スペクターによってアルバム『レット・イット・ビー』がリリースされビートルズは解散その歴史に幕を閉じる。そうした背景の中で幻のアルバム『GET BACK』の原型といえるグリン・ジョンズ制作の最初期アセテート原盤の音源が全米ラジオ局で放送される。これがゲット・バック・セッションからの未発表音源が初めて世に公開された歴史的エピソードでありその音源から最初期ブートレッグの名盤『KUM BACK』が登場することになる。その経緯については６９年３月の段階でグリン・ジョンズによる最初のアセテート原盤からコピーされたリール・テープがアップルのデレク・テイラーから全米ラジオDJ、トム・ドナヒューへと送られた。その後ボストンのラジオ局WBCN-FMのDJスティーブ・セガールの手に渡りライバル局に先駆けこの未発表音源を独占オン・エア。番組ではアセテート原盤の音源に加え当時発売されたばかりの『アビイ・ロード』からの新曲も放送されている。その歴史的ラジオ番組を９０年代に入って最初に発掘し収録したタイトルがこの『ポスターズ・インセンス・アンド・ストローブ・キャンドルス』である。ＤＩＳＣ１のＣＤには当時のラジオ番組そのものをDJチャットやコマーシャル等も含め完全収録。新音源ソースからの最新リマスターにより過去のアナログ盤やＣＤに比べ音質は全編通してクオリティ・アップ。さらに番組では単にレコードからの音源を流していた『アビイ・ロード』収録曲はすべてアウトテイクに差し替えて収録。またオリジナル未収録だった音源も追加されこれまでとは違ったオリジナル編集の２０２２年最新増補改訂版である。ＤＩＳＣ２のＤＶＤにはゲット・バック・セッションを記録した映画『レット・イット・ビー』の未編集映像素材をまとめた未公開フィルム映像を中心に収録。シングル「ゲット・バック/ドント・レット・ミー・ダウン」のプロモ映像以外は白黒＆カラー混在の未編集映像素材のため元から断片的で無音声・画質劣化もしているが音声は新たにシーンに合わせたステレオ・リマスター音源でアテレコ収録。映画では見ることが出来ない貴重なセッションを１２０分近いレストア修復映像で見ることが出来る。１９６９年当時ビートルズの未発表音源を初めて公開した歴史的ラジオ番組の完全版ＣＤと映画の未公開フィルム映像ＤＶＤの組み合わせによるＧＯＬＤＩＥＳレーベル独自の最新スペシャル・コレクターズ・エディション注目の新登場！
