The longest version of the rooftop concert, which is based on a multi-track and reconstructed with Blue Soap Stereo source as a superb sound source! This reconstruction intends to have the highest audio quality and complete version (46 minutes), while firmly considering the essence of the live album! The bonus track is a 29 minutes version that makes full use of past high-quality analog sound sources! The first issue has a beautiful postcard.

We have compiled the Beatles’ last live performance, ROOFTOP CONCERT, so that you can enjoy it as a live album with the longest and ultra-high sound quality.

ROOF TOP by Yellow Dog released nearly 30 years ago tried to capture the whole picture of ROOF TOP as a pure live album instead of a documentary using sound sources other than the sound source of the movie LET IT BE. This is an old masterpiece made by making full use of the monaural Nagra sound source, but the problem was still the sound quality far from the quality of the movie soundtrack. Also, when GET BACK was delivered last year, many fans seemed to be quite satisfied, but ROOFTOP was not a pure live scene, but was naturally edited in a documentary format (bargaining with police officers). It is understandable that it needs to be in a documentary format in order to express.) However, the need to enjoy the live performance itself was not met.

Therefore, in this work, the latest Blue Soap Stereo sound source is used as a complement based on the multi-track, and it is completed as a perfect live album with ultra-high sound quality that does not feel the compression feeling of the longest and low range at all. In addition, we carefully performed some digital remastering with a sense of correction in order to reduce the discomfort that was felt in the multitrack (= a little different from the mix that we were familiar with until now).

Furthermore, this time, we reorganized each sound source with the strongest sound quality in the past, and produced another version although it is 29 minutes. Using MFSL LP sound source, EU press NAKED LP sound source, EU press anthology 3 LP sound source, and soundtrack of movie LET IT BE (unreleased) by Ron Furmanek remastered in 1992. This is a mix that does not use any Nagra sound source and is familiar to you, and has super high sound quality.

LIVE AT THE APPLE ROOF TOP is a collection of these two extreme versions on a single CD. We are confident that this will meet the needs of everyone who wants to emit sound from speakers at a loud volume as a live album. George’s autographed (printed) double-sided postcard is also great. ビートルズ最後のライブパフォーマンス、ROOFTOP CONCERTを最長・超高音質でライブ盤として楽しめるよう編纂いたしました。

映画LET IT BEのサントラ以外の音源を使いドキュメンタリーではなく純粋なライブ盤としROOFTOPの全貌をとらえようとしたのは、30年近く前にリリースされたYellow DogによるROOFTOP。これはモノラルのナグラ音源を駆使し製作された古の名盤ですが、やはり課題は映画サントラのクオリティとは程遠い音質でした。また昨年GET BACKが映像配信された際、多くのファンはかなりの満足感を得たようですが、ROOFTOPについては純粋なライブシーンではなく、当然ドキュメンタリー形式で編集されていました（警官との駆け引きを表現するためには、ドキュメンタリー形式である必要があることは十分理解できます）。しかしながらライブそのものを純粋に楽しみたいというニーズは満たされませんでした。

そこで、本作ではマルチトラックをベースに最新のBlue Soap Stereo音源を補完として使用し、最長・かつ低音域の圧縮感など一切感じさせない超高音質で完璧なライブ盤として完成させています。かつマルチトラックで若干感じられた違和感（＝今まで聴きなれていたミックスとちょっと違う点）を低減させるべく補正感覚で若干のデジタルリマスターを慎重に行いました。

さらに今回は過去の最強音質の各音源を再編纂し、29分ではありますが別バージョンも製作。MFSL LP音源、EUプレスのNAKED LP音源、同じくEUプレスのアンソロジー3のLP音源、そして1992年にリマスターされたRon Furmanekによる映画LET IT BE（未公開）のサウンドトラックを使用。こちらはナグラ音源を一切使用せず、かつ聴きなれたミックスで超高音質となっています。

そんな2つの至極のバージョンを１枚のCDにまとめたLIVE AT THE APPLE ROOFTOP。これはライブ盤として大音量でスピーカーから発したいという皆様のニーズをかなえていると確信しております。ジョージのサイン入り（印刷）両面ポストカードも素晴らしい出来栄えです。PLAY IT LOUD!!
