[First time limited original design with obi] The Beatles mid-term groundbreaking studio album “Revolver” announced in 1966 attracted attention with the release of a new extended special edition in 2022, but here it is a new topic as the latest stereophonic sound. A CD/DVD special edition with a multi-track remix based on the Dolby Atmos sound source, a video album that visualizes all songs of the album, and related promotional videos is now available. Dolby Atmos, which has been separated into multiple channels from the original master, reproduces vocals, choruses, and each instrument even more clearly. It is attracting attention as a sound source. The CD contains two versions of the latest stereo remix from the multitrack based on the Dolby Atmos. “Atmos Main = Front Multitrack Stereo Remix” contains multi-channel front center sound sources such as vocals and guitars. “Atmos Rear-Backing Multi-Track Stereo Remix” contains multi-channel rear backing parts. It is a remix that stands out for the backing chorus and specific instrumentals without the main vocal. As an extra, the single “Paperback Writer/Rain” is also included in two versions. And the DVD contains an “audio section” that reproduces each version of Dolby Atmos and a “video section” that summarizes related images. In the “Audio Section”, 4 versions of the sound source can be selected and played with the audio option against the background of the officially imaged video of all 14 songs of the album. In addition to the usual “Atmos Stereo Mix”, the “Atmos 5.1 Surround Mix” has been converted so that the Dolby Atmos multi-sound source, which is difficult to reproduce as it is, can be reproduced in a 5.1 surround environment. Four versions of “Atmos Front Channel” and “Atmos Rear Channel” are recorded, which contain individual stereo sound sources like CDs, even if they are not multi-playback. (Both can be played on ordinary DVD players and PCs) In addition, the “Video Section” includes 6 promotional videos including newly produced video works in 2022, as well as outtake videos and album production John, Paul, and George.
