“The Beatles at Abbey Road Studio” attracted attention because the precious unreleased studio outtake of Beatles was opened to the public for the first time. Approximately 20 years after the debut of the Beatles, in 1983, a limited release documentary was held at Abbey Road Studio with invited guests. At that time, “Anthology” had not been announced yet, and for Beatles fans around the world. It was a shocking event where I was able to watch the unreleased outtake of the Beatles for the first time at this time. The documentary footage and sound source by John Barrett and narration Roger Scott, who researched the studio record and released the sound source, have been released as collector’s items several times from the record era to the CD, but this time the original video and sound source are released. Introducing a new edition as an expanded and revised version that has been updated based on the contents. In the course of nearly 40 years since its release, many sound sources and video materials have been unearthed one after another, and this memorable documentary sound source and video have been newly reconstructed. On the CD, the original released sound source is recorded from the unedited sound source material that was the source. Originally recorded in the best existing master quality, including fade-out and cut songs. There is also an outtake released in the later “Anthology”, but the mix and editing are different from the John Barrett sound source at this time, and most of it is a version that can only be heard here, and the content that was about 65 minutes of the original is this time It has been supplemented and revised in 80 minutes. The DVD is recorded in a new edition in which the original video image that has deteriorated over time has been replaced with a significantly improved image. It is also noteworthy that the videos such as promo and live are edited differently from the recordings of “Anthology” and “1”. Also, as a bonus video, in addition to the alternate edited version, in addition to 4 songs, a nostalgic short film that collages the history of the Beatles released in 1974 is also included. Introducing the latest collector’s edition unique to the GOLDIES label, which is a reconstruction of the groundbreaking documentary that was first released in 1983 with the latest updated sound sources and images! !!

ビートルズの貴重な未発表スタジオ・アウトテイクが初めて一般公開された事で注目された『ザ・ビートルズ・アット・アビイ・ロード・スタジオ』。ビートルズのデビューからおよそ２０年後となった１９８３年にアビイ・ロード・スタジオ内に招待客を招いて限定公開されたドキュメンタリーで当時はまだ『アンソロジー』も発表されておらず世界中のビートルズ・ファンにとってこの時初めてビートルズの未発表アウトテイクを視聴出来た衝撃的なイベントでした。スタジオ記録をリサーチして音源公開したジョン・バレットそしてナレーションのロジャー・スコットによるドキュメンタリー映像と音源はこれまでレコード時代からＣＤまで幾度かコレクターズ・アイテムとしてリリースされてきましたが今回オリジナルの映像と音源を元にしつつその内容をアップデイトした増補改訂版ニュー・エディションとして新登場です。公開当初から４０年近い経過の中で数多くの音源や映像素材も続々と発掘されてきた中でこの記念すべきドキュメンタリーの音源と映像を新たに再構築。ＣＤではオリジナルで公開された音源をその元となった未編集の音源素材から収録。オリジナルではフェイドアウトやカットされていた曲も含め現存する最良のマスター・クオリティで収録。後の『アンソロジー』でリリースされたアウトテイクもありますがこの時のジョン・バレット音源とはミックスや編集が異なっておりそのほとんどがここでしか聴けないバージョンでオリジナルの６５分程だった内容が今回８０分に増補改訂されています。ＤＶＤでは経年劣化しているオリジナルのビデオ映像から大幅にクオリティ・アップした映像に差し替えたニュー・エディションで収録。プロモやライブといった映像も『アンソロジー』や『１』の収録とは異なる編集となっているのも注目です。またボーナス映像としてオルタネイト編集バージョンに加え４曲に加え７４年に公開されたビートルズの歴史をコラージュした懐古的なショート・フィルムも収録。１９８３年に初公開された画期的ドキュメンタリーを最新アップデイトした音源と映像で再構築したＧＯＬＤＩＥＳレーベル独自の最新コレクターズ・エディション新登場！！
