Osaka in 2006 was the final stage of the “Golden Five”. Introducing the world premiere original recording that allows you to witness the historic scene.
The performance of “October 16, 2006: Zepp Osaka” was imbued with this work. It is a superb audience recording recorded at the Osaka venue of the memorable first “LOUD PARK”. At that time, ANTHRAX recalled Joey Belladonna / Dan Spitz and reunited. The whole world was intoxicated by the resurrection of the golden age. 《Belladna & Spitz withdrawal》
This is the first reunion era. After that, after passing through Dan Nelson and John Bush (second), Joey is still standing at the front, but Spitz who left here has not returned. As a result, it was only about one and a half years above that the “five golden people” who prevailed in the 1980s were available. Even in such a “true reunion era”, the appearance of “LOD PARK 06” is the final stage. Yes, this work was the last show by “Five Golden People”.
This work recorded at such a historical site is exactly the best recording with “super”. After all, this work was done by Mr. “West Japan’s strongest taper” who is familiar with our shop. As the name suggests, in West Japan … No, even by world standards, if you record HR / HM, there is no one on the right. If you’ve noticed this article, you’ve probably experienced more than one recording of Mr. “The Strongest”, but the sound with an extremely high degree of extra-thickness, close contact, and separation is “like a sound.” The board itself. The two masterpieces “SPREADING THE DISEASE” and “AMONG THE LIVING” engraved in the soul of the slasher are carefully selected up to one side of the LP (5 songs), symbolizing the latter half of the Joey era with three major covers. 《ベラドナ＆スピッツ離脱》
これが最初の再結成時代。その後ダン・ネルソンやジョン・ブッシュ（第二次）を経た現在もジョーイがフロントに立っていますが、ここで去ったスピッツの復帰はなし。結果、80年代に一世を風靡した“黄金の５人”が揃っていたのは上記の約１年半だけでした。そんな「真のリユニオン時代」の中でも”LOD PARK 06”出演は最末期。そう、本作こそが“黄金の５人”によるラスト・ショウだったわけです。
そんな歴史的現場で記録された本作は、まさに「超」付きの極上録音。何しろ、本作を手掛けたのは当店お馴染みの“西日本最強テーパー”氏。その名の通り西日本では……いえ、世界基準でもHR/HMを録らせたら右に出る者はいないという名手中の名手。本稿に目留められた方なら”最強”氏の録音を１本ならず体験された事があると思いますが、極度に高度な極太感・密着感・セパレート感が揃ったサウンドは「まるでサウンドボード」そのもの。もちろん、本作にもその旨みと凄みがたっぷり。“最強”氏コレクションでも初期にあたるために今となっては最高傑作ではないかも知れませんが、今も変わらぬ「鋼鉄音の美学」でしっかりと貫かれた超・極上録音なのです。
その最強サウンドで描かれるのは、真なるリユニオン最後の輝き。この日はMEGADETH／DIOとのカップリングの一番手でもあるので持ち時間は50分弱なのですが、その短い中に必殺曲を濃縮している。ここで、その濃ゆーいセットを整理しておきましょう。
