そんな本作が撮影されたのは「1999年12月31日：大阪ドーム公演」。新たなミレニアムを迎えるカウントダウン・イベントを特集したTV番組プロショットです。この時のAEROSMITHはカウントダウンのためだけに来日したのではなく、単独のドーム・ツアーも実施。まずは、そのスケジュールからショウのポジションを確かめておきましょう。

……と、このようになっています。70年代もGEFFEN時代も網羅したグレイテスト・ヒッツ。しかも、人気絶頂のステージセットは豪華絢爛で、ロケット風船の巨大畑と化す大阪ドームのスペクタクル……すべてが凄い。そんな中で最大の見どころなのは、やはりカウントダウンでしょう。当日は20分押しで始まったそうで、その時点で０時への綿密な時間調整は台無し。ショウ中盤からは巻き返すように次から次へと矢継ぎ早に名曲を繰り出し、それに伴ってショウはドンドン加熱。遂には予定になかった「Chip Away The Stone」まで演奏し始める始末。当時、時計と放送を並べてみていたファンは「Mama Kin」辺りで「さぁ、カウントダウンだ」と構えたそうですが、AEROSMITHはそのまま「Train Kept A Rollin’」を始めてしまう。「おいおい、千年に一度なのにどうすんのよ？」と心配しつつ、その「Train Kept A Rollin’」が終了したのは23時59分37秒。残り23秒でスティーヴン・タイラーが「スイマセーン！」と日本語でコールしてカウントダウンを誘い、見事に間に合った！
