サンタナのライヴ音源です。なかなか良く録られたオーディエンス収録。サンタナのライヴと言えば毎度素晴らしいミュージシャンに支えられているわけですが、今回はドラムスにデニス・チェンバース！そのデニチェンに絡む二人のパーカンションはまさにラテンなサンタナ印です。『ジンゴ』や『哀愁のヨーロッパ』、『ブラック・マジック・ウーマン』などの定番から、デューク・エリントンの『イン・ア・センチメンタル・ムード』やジョン・コルトレーンの『至上の愛』といったジャズ・ナンバーも聴きもの。
