WINGER of the golden age that was short but shining brightly. A masterpiece video that allows you to witness the full show at the end of the original, which was about to disband, is now available.
This work was filmed on “October 9, 1993 in Toronto”. It is the superb view audience shot. Speaking of 1993, it is also memorable that the performance in Japan was realized. First of all, let’s check the position of the show by overlooking the whole view of Katsuzo.

《WINGER dissolution》

This is the 1993 WINGER. They reunited in 1997, but their original activities ended in 1993. The last was the performance in Japan. The Toronto performance of this work is the first day of “North America # 3” just before that. There was also an unplugged TV appearance on this day, but this work was a regular electric concert different from that.
This work, which conveys such a scene, is a superb image that depicts a “superb view”. Images that do not include obstructive objects such as the shadows of the front row passengers are called “superb view”, and this work is a sample of that. It is taken from the stand seat on the right side of the stage (closer to Reb Beach), but there is no front customer whether it is the front of the second floor seat. Moreover, the arena seats were pushed out of the frame by the bold zoom, and “only the members can see”. Another point is the height of the line of sight. Usually, when you shoot from the stand seats, you look down, but this venue is almost the same as the members on the stage. By combining this line of sight with the unbelievable zoom of the 90’s equipment, you can enjoy the feeling of being in a studio rehearsal rather than a concert video.

… and it looks like this. While centering on the latest work “PULL”, he also shows off plenty from the two major albums “WINGER” and “IN THE HEART OF THE YOUNG” that swept the world. Furthermore, the performance that plays the set is wonderful. The youthful and active action is exactly the golden age itself, and the heavy sound of the four-member formation in which associate member John Ross also participated (although it is a pity that Paul Taylor is not there) is cool. It was also a dissolution drama that was tossed by the times, but the band potential and performance power were at their peak … This work is also the evidence video.
It’s been a long time since the hard-line “PULL” received pros and cons. Even after the reunion, there is a feeling that the “PULL” number has become familiar from a modern perspective, but it is unique to real time that the three name boards are evenly distributed. そんな本作が撮影されたのは「1993年10月９日トロント公演」。その絶景オーディエンス・ショットです。1993年と言えば来日公演が実現した事でも思い出深いところ。まずは、その勝三全景を俯瞰してショウのポジションを確かめてみましょう。

《WINGER解散》

これが1993年のWINGER。1997年には再結成するわけですが、オリジナル活動は1993年に終結。その最後が日本公演でした。本作のトロント公演は、その直前となる「北米#3」の初日。この日はアンプラグドのTV出演もありましたが、本作はそれとは異なるエレクトリックの通常コンサートでした。
そんな現場を伝える本作は「絶景」を画に描いたような極上映像。前列客の影など邪魔になるものが映り込まない映像を「絶景」と呼んでいるが、本作はその見本となるもの。ステージ右寄り（レブ・ビーチ寄り）のスタンド席から撮影されているのですが、２階席の最前なのか前方客が存在しない。しかも果敢なズームによってアリーナ席もフレーム外に追いやられ、「目に入るのはメンバーだけ」という状態です。さらにポイントなのが目線の高さ。普通、スタンド席から撮影すると見下ろし気味になるのですが、この会場はほぼステージ上のメンバーとほぼ同じ。この目線と90年代の機材とは思えないほどのズームが合わさる事で、コンサート映像と言うよりまるでスタジオ・リハーサルに同席しているような独り占め感まで味わえるのです。
そんな特等席から楽しめるのは、黄金時代を総括するようなフルショウ。その総括感の源泉は、もちろん名曲を濃縮したセットリスト。ここでその濃度をご覧頂きましょう。
