Prince’s DJ remix collection, this time it’s a big shot. Disc 1 contains a remix collection called Sticky Hot Summer by Dr. Funkenberry, who is famous for being a Prince insider. It consists of two parts, 4 songs in the first half Everybody Loves Me and 5 songs in the second half Amrican In Paris. Another elegant long remix of Clouds, Disc 2 contains a very funky remix in the first half. We simply mashed up Prince’s songs without adding bad effects, and for tracks like Miss You that didn’t have Prince’s studio recordings, we used high-quality live recordings to create live mixes. And all the remixes from the 6th track Sign O The Times to the 14th track last Adore are connected, and it approaches with the taste of the updated new remix.

プリンスのDJリミックス集、今回は大物が登場です。Disc 1にプリンス情報通で有名なDr. FunkenberryのSticky Hot Summerというリミックス集を収録。前半4曲Everybody Loves Meまでと後半5曲Amrican In Parisまでの2部構成となっています。他にCloudsの優雅なロング・リミックス、Disc 2はとてもファンキーなリミックスが前半収録されています。下手なエフェクトを加えず素直にプリンスの曲をマッシュアップ、そしてMiss Youのようにプリンスのスタジオ録音がないものは上質ライブ音源を使ってライブ・ミックスに仕上げています。そして6曲目Sign O The Timesから14曲目ラストAdoreまでのリミックスは全て繋がっており、アップデートされたニューリミックスの趣で迫ります。
