った2008年9月25日イスラエル・テルアビブ公演。この年は故郷リバプ
ールでの公演の他、35万人を集めたウクライナ独立記念やカナダ・ケベ
ック創立400周年といった大規模なスペシャル・コンサートが行われる中
でこのテルアビブ公演が実現しました。かつて1965年にビートルズとし
て公演予定がありながら若者に悪影響を与えるとイスラエルの国会議
員が懸念を表明し中止、その後40年以上経って当時も過激派テロから
の警告もある中で行われた注目のコンサートです。オープニングはビート
ルズ「ハロー・グッドバイ」から幕開けしこの時期ならではの「ドライブ・マ
イ・カー」「アイル・フォロー・ザ・サン」「ヒア・ゼア・アンド・エブリウェア」は
じめジョンに捧げる「ア・デイ・イン・ザ・ライフ～平和を我等に」メドレーも
演奏。またエンディングは「サージェント・ペッパーズ～ジ・エンド」で締め
括るのもこの時期ならではのセットリスト。その後のツアーとは異なる演
奏内容は今あらためて感動をもたらせてくれます。かつてその一部だけ
がモノラル放送音源として流通したものの今回は極上クオリティのステレ
オ・サウンドボード音源そしてこれまで未公開だったプロショット映像完全
