1980 Europe Tour 10th day performance in Frankfurt, Germany recorded for 2 hours and 10 minutes with high-quality sound board recording. The “Bertha Remaster of the first generation cassette soundboard”, which is familiar from online download sound sources, is recorded as it is. From beginners to enthusiasts, the best version of this performance is definitely a must-have, as it is one of the best quality and length classic sound boards on the 80-year tour. The sound is thick and the balance is good from beginning to end. The cut that seems to be a tape change is at 7:40 (in the song) of Since I’ve Been Loving You and near the ending of Kashmir, but other than that, it was recorded with almost no problem and there is almost no deterioration part. On this day, at White Summer / Black Mountain Side, you can hear a rare scene where Jimmy interrupts the performance at around 5 minutes and 30 and requests with a microphone “I can’t hear my sound well so I want you to be quiet”. .. Ahmet Ertegun is visiting the venue, and Phil Carson, who accompanied him, will be introduced on stage, and you can hear the unusual performance of playing bass on the encore Money. (John Paul plays the piano. Money’s cover performance has been valuable since the performance in Seattle on June 19, 1972.) Whole Lotta Love includes not only Boogie Chillun’but also Presley’s Frankfurt Special. 1980年ヨーロッパ・ツアー10日目のドイツ・フランクフルト公演を高音質サウンドボード録音で2時間10分収録。ネット・ダウンロード音源でお馴染みの「Bertha Remaster of the first generation cassette soundboard」をそのまま収録しています。80年ツアーのサウンドボードでは質・長さともに最良の一つの定番音源ですので、ビギナーからマニアまで、この公演の最良ヴァージョンは間違いなく、必携と言えるでしょう。音も太く、バランスも終始良好。テープチェンジと思われるカットはSince I’ve Been Loving Youの7：40(曲中）とKashmirのエンディング付近にありますが、それ以外は殆ど問題なく録音されており、劣化パートも殆どありません。この日はWhite Summer / Black Mountain Sideで、5分30付近でジミーが演奏を途中で中断し、「自分の音が良く聴こえないから静かにして欲しい」とマイクでリクエストするという珍しいシーンも聴けます。アーメット・アーティガンが会場を訪れており、同行していたフィル・カーソンがステージでも紹介され、アンコールのMoneyでベースを弾くと言う珍しいパフォーマンスを聴くことが出来ます。(ジョン・ポールはピアノを演奏。Moneyのカバー演奏は1972年6月19日のシアトル公演以来で貴重。）Whole Lotta LoveではBoogie Chillun’だけでなくプレスリーのFrankfurt Specialがインクルードされています。80年ツアー代表するフランクフルト公演のサウンドボードの最良ヴァージョンをお楽しみ下さい。
