This week Eric Clapton is releasing a valuable 70s FM radio master! In the 70s, the artist’s live sound source was broadcast quickly and edited in 78 minutes for broadcasting in the music program “King Biscuit Flower Hour (KBFH)” that was enthusiastically supported by rock fans nationwide76 It is a live sound source of 1978 and 1978. JEMS acquired Archive as a master by the local radio station WABX in Detroit. Krw_Co transferred it and uploaded it on the net. Originally great stereo line recording, quality is guaranteed, but our shop is upgraded. In addition to correcting the pitch correctly, remastering was performed to expand the stereo range. Furthermore, because it was recorded in the order of 78-76 years as shown in the net text, it was replaced in chronological order from 76-78. Therefore, even if this board is once again, it has become much more upgraded than the sound source on the net, making it easier to listen to. Originally, this sound source was a single set broadcasted by KBFH of the same year, and later two years worth of songs were extracted and rebroadcast. Although this sound source was a famous sound source that has been recorded in many bootlegs from the analog era, it can be said that it is also a great attraction for rock fans to listen directly to the master owned by the radio station again. The 1976 part captures the promotion of the album “NO REASON TO CRY”, and the 1978 part captures the US tour conducted as a promotion of the album “SLOWHAND”. Each November 15th, 76th Dallas Convention Center, Edited from a concert at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on February 11, 1978. At that time, Clapton followed an American backband and was a time when he had established his own “Clapton Music” that brought British shadows and pop sensation into the sound of an American taste that was laid back. In the first 76 years part, the only number from the album is Sign Language, but the others are selectable blues and representative songs. Especially Layla that can be heard here is composed only for this period of 12 minutes by inserting drum solo and percussion solo in the middle part, and it is a Latin-like passionate performance that leads to Santana. Clapton’s play is also crisp and shows how well a super guitarist is alive. In the latter half of 1978, five songs from the album “SLOWHAND” were selected. Thanks to these promotions, the album has become a huge hit with 2nd place in the US charts, but here too, you can hear a wonderful performance that fully emphasizes the excellence of the song. The three songs of Wonderful Tonight, Lay down Sally, and Cocaine are still representative songs that cannot be missed at Clapton concerts. In other words, this board is the best live compilation that packs the “delicious” parts of Clapton from the 70’s and can be easily listened to on 1CD. There is a place where the voice of DJ is covered in the intro of the song, but this atmosphere was American FM radio in the 70s. If you listen to it, you will be able to enjoy a time slip. Please enjoy Clapton’s famous sound source representing the 70’s to the fullest with our upgrade board.

今週のエリック・クラプトンは、貴重な70年代のFMラジオマスターをリリース致します！70年代、アーティストのライブ音源を逸早く放送し、全米のロックファンから熱狂的に支持されていた音楽プログラム「キング・ビスケット・フラワー・アワー（KBFH）」での放送用として78分に編集された76年と78年のライブ音源です。当時デトロイトにあったローカルラジオ局WABXが保管していたマスターをJEMSがArchiveとして入手。それをかのKrw_Coがトランスファーし、ネット上にアップロードしたものです。元々素晴らしいステレオ・ライン録音であり、クオリティは保証付きですが、そこを当店はグレードアップ。ピッチを正しく修正したほか、ステレオのレンジを広げるリマスターを施しました。さらに、ネットテキストにあるように78年～76年の順で収録されていたため、76年～78年と時系列で入れ替えました。従って本盤がまたしてもネットそのままの音源よりも格段にグレードアップし、聴き易くなった内容となっています。元々この音源は、それぞれ同年のKBFHで単独セットが放送されたもので、後に2年分の中から曲が抜粋され再放送されました。アナログ時代からこの音源は数々のブートレッグに収録されてきた有名音源でしたが、今改めてラジオ局保有のマスターを直に聴いてみるのもロックファンには大きな魅力と言えるでしょう。76年パートはアルバム「NO REASON TO CRY」のプロモーション、78年パートはアルバム「SLOWHAND」のプロモーションとして行なわれた全米ツアーを捉えたもので、それぞれ76年11月15日ダラス・コンヴェンションセンター、78年2月11日サンタモニカ・シヴィック・オーディトリアムでのコンサートから編集されています。当時のクラプトンはアメリカ人のバックバンドを従え、レイドバックしたアメリカンテイストのサウンドの中にブリティッシュの陰影とポップセンスを持ち込んだ独自の「クラプトン・ミュージック」を確立していた時期でした。前半の76年パートでは、当該アルバムからのナンバーはSign Languageのみとなっていますが、他はお得意のブルースと代表曲というセレクトです。特にここで聴けるLaylaは中間部にドラムソロとパーカッションソロを挿み12分に及ぶというこの時期だけの構成になっており、サンタナにも通じるラテン風の情熱的なパフォーマンスとなっています。クラプトンのプレイもキレッキレで、スーパーギタリストの健在ぶりを示しています。後半の78年パートではアルバム「SLOWHAND」の収録曲が何と5曲もセレクトされています。こうしたプロモーションのおかげでこのアルバムは全米チャート2位を記録する大ヒット作になったわけですが、ここでも楽曲の優秀性を十分にアピールする素晴らしい演奏が聴かれます。Wonderful Tonight、Lay down Sally、Cocaineの3曲は、今でもクラプトンのコンサートでははずせない代表曲となっているほどです。言い換えれば本盤は、70年代のクラプトンの「美味しい」ところをパックし、手軽に1CDで聴くことのできる最高のライブコンピレーションということができるでしょう。曲のイントロにDJの声が被っている箇所もありますが、この雰囲気が70年代のアメリカのFMラジオだったのです。そう思って聴いていただくと、タイムスリップ感も味わっていただけるのではないかと思います。クラプトンの70年代を代表する有名音源を当店のアップグレード盤で心ゆくまでお楽しみください。
