[THE ALTERNATE ALBUM COLLECTION] The “Alternate Album Collection” series of newly edited overseas originals that thoroughly pursues the Beatles’ original album-related sound sources based on the latest updates. A new reference collection that carefully selects a wide variety of interesting Beatles sound sources, from newly excavated first appearance sound sources to original sound sources by overseas collector volunteers. From the latest multi-track remixes to unpublished studio sessions and various versions, unpublished sound sources and excavated sound sources that have been repeatedly updated have been reconfigured after scrutinizing their sound quality and editing content. It is a notable collector’s edition with the latest editing that thoroughly pursues “different” sound sources that cannot be heard only with limited public sound sources.

The Beatles for Sale, the Beatles’ fourth album in the UK, was released in December 1964. In the United States, it was released as “Beatles ’65” and “Beatles VI” by its own editing, and in Japan it was released under the album title of “Beatles ’65” while having the same content as the UK. DISC1: THE ALTERNATE ALBUM:

Each song is reconstructed based on the multi-track sound source separated by demixing technology, which is a hot topic in AI sound source analysis, which has been attracting attention in recent years. Here, it is recorded from a sound source that is different from the one that has been distributed and already released, and it is finished as an alternate album with its own editing content this time. DISC2 : THE ALTERNATE SESSIONS
Includes studio session sound sources that follow the production process of the album in almost the order of recording at that time. A take that partially overlaps with the official sound source is also an original edited sound source with different edits and mixes. DISC3: THE ALTERNATE VERSIONS

文字通りの”オルタネイト・アルバム”としてオリジナル・アルバム収録全１４曲を最新編集による２つの異なるリミックス２バージョンを収録。前半１４曲は最新ステレオ・リミックスでアルバム全曲とシングル２曲を収録。６０年代当時はモノラルが主流で後から制作されたオリジナルのステレオは４トラックからのシンプルなミックスだった為に８０年代初CD化の際にはこのアルバムまではモノラルだけがリリースされ２００９年になって初めてオリジナルに準じたステレオがリリースされている。この最新ステレオ・リミックスでは旧態のステレオと比べよりダイレクトにボーカルや楽器が浮き彫りされレコード時代に比べより厚みのある迫力を増したリミックスとなっている。そして後半のアルバム全曲とシングル２曲では前半とは異なるマルチトラック・ステレオ・デミックスを収録。近年注目されているＡＩ音源解析で話題のデミックス技術によって分離したマルチトラック音源を元に各曲を再構築。ここではこれまで配信や既発で出回ったものとは異なる音源から収録しており今回独自の編集内容によるオルタネイト・アルバムに仕上げられている。全体的に前半とは異なり歌と演奏を振り分けたデミックス技術によるネイキッドなミックスさらにＢＢＣラジオでのセッション音源も新たにデミックス技術によるステレオ・リミックスとなっている。これまでの海外編集ものとも異なる内容となる２０２３年最新アップデイト・コレクションである。

アルバムの制作過程を辿るスタジオ・セッション音源をほぼ当時の録音順に収録。これまでその一部が公開されたものや公式音源には未収録のままとなっている現存するセッション音源がまとめて収録されている。公式音源と一部重複するテイクも編集やミックスが異なるオリジナル編集音源となっている。お馴染みの既発音源と比べ音質の向上はもちろん一部モノラルだった音源も新たにＡＩ技術によるステレオ化が施されており全曲最新アップデイト・ステレオ音源で収録された最新決定版となっている。
