CD2 includes all songs of the Hollywood Bowl in 1964. This is based on an original acetate sound source that is different from the official remaster. 【アンソロジー・コンプリート・ワークス2の内容】
CD1は63年初遠征となったスエーデンTVでのライブからスタート。オリジナルのモノラル音源からリアル・ステレオに変換され音質もアップグレード。歴史的ライブ音源といえる”ロイヤル・バラエティ・パフォーマンス”はオリジナルでカットされた曲も含め全曲収録。後になって発掘されたワシントンDCでの「ロング・トール・サリー」やアラウンド・ザ・ビートルズの未収録曲も追加。アルバム『ア・ハード・デイズ・ナイト』のセッション音源ではモノラルだったアウトテイクもリアル・ステレオにアップグレードされた他、この時期のデモである「ホワット・ゴーズ・オン」「愛なき世界」「ワン・アンド・ワン・イズ・トゥ」「イッツ・フォー・ユー」等も断片的ながら収録。「ユー・ノウ・ホワット・トゥ・ドゥ」はステレオ化されています。CD2では64年ハリウッド・ボウルを全曲コンプリート収録。こちらは公式リマスターとは異なるオリジナル・アセテート音源を元にしています。後半のアルバム『ビートルズ・フォー・セール』セッションのアウトテイクスもモノラルからリアル・ステレオに置き換わって音質自体も向上。最後の64年クリスマス・メッセージも使われなかったアウトテイクが収録されています。
