As mentioned above, all 5 performances at 4 venues around Higashi-Meihan. Yngwie in the 90’s was extremely popular in Japan, but the latest work at that time was the cover album “INSPIRATION”. The schedule was smaller than the regular tour and the chopsticks were resting. We have set records for these two performances, but both are at the highest level. First of all, the full recording of the Osaka performance, which is already wonderful. It has been made into a CD from the 1st Gene DAT, which was directly copied from the Omoto DAT, but the core is very thick, there is no sense of distance, the details are super clear, and it does not chatter even at the peak. The contours of each rapid-fire guitar are beautifully drawn, and each of the attack sounds with a brittle bass is sharply cut off, and the groove created by connecting them like beads is also clear. Even with a slightly withdrawn vocal (or Yngwie’s usual on-site mix), you can clearly understand each word of the lyrics. It seems that there is probably no deterioration only in the DAT → DAT copy, and as long as you actually listen to this work, there are no dubbing marks. Since it is not a CD from Omoto DAT, it is introduced from the Shades label just in case, but the contents are completely permanent storage press grade work.
Audience shot (DISC 3) of Nakano performance is not defeated by such transcendental sounds. This is a type that you can’t hope for a press in terms of pixels, but the view is unusual. I’m shooting from the rear stand seat, which looks at the stage Central Europe from the front, but there is no obstruction that blocks the view. It’s a superb view where you can see every point of the stage. Moreover, the bold zoom is also amazing. When you pull it all the way out, the entire stage fits in your field of view, and when you approach it, the screen is filled with marks and Yngwie’s waist-up. The sound that is comparable to the superb view is also wonderful. As expected, it is not as close as the Osaka recording of DISC 1-2, and although the stereo feeling may be disturbed in some places, the core that reaches straight is sharp like a laser beam, and the hall sound amplifies the dynamism and does not hide the details. Both Yngwie’s speed of light passage and Mark’s transcendental vibrato are meticulously bathed.
The two performances drawn with such superb recordings and superb view shots are a full show only in 1996 with delicious rare cover songs. Although the detailed song order is slightly different, the selection itself is the same in Osaka / Tokyo. Let’s organize them together here.
