This year also “GENERATION AXE TOUR” was announced, the cheering champion Yngwie Malmsteen. His latest shock shots are appearing.
This film was filmed “August 2, 2018 Houston Performance”. It is an audience shot at the outdoor venue. Speaking of what is shocking, of course quality. Actually, it is an audience shot that brought close-ups from the front row. Anyway it is close! As you know, current Yngwie does not have full-time vocals, but placed on the left 1/3 of the stage with a base, drum and keyboard compacted. We are doing an extreme show to occupy the rest of Stage 2/3 with Yngwie alone. The position of this work is the front row of left 1/3 where such band members are located. Of course, it does not reflect the back members, but the camera is chasing the horrifying Yngwie rampaging at the stage.
In fact, the sight is “The Ingvey”. As we are in the front row, not only the front row is not reflected, but we are watching Yngwie in the direction that turns away from other members, the back member only appears when he bothers himself. It is an image that almost entirely passes through a full show with just a doubled up. In addition, stability feeling is also amazing. You do not have to zoom to the front row only, no matter where you are at Yvvey. When walking to the front of the photographer, it is almost the same distance as sitting at the same table at a coffee shop, and it will fit the line of sight.
In addition to that close contact scene, the sound is shocking. Although it is a microphone recording attached to the camera, the PA sound jumps to the super direct. And there is no wall or ceiling that only reflects outgoing sounds at the outdoor stage. Besides, it boasts neatness that does not bite at all even if it becomes Fortessimo, and it is so super-detailed that it can hear clearly the sound that the smoke machine on the spot blows out. It is a furious clear vivid sound that can not be a Soundboard of Soya Sogo.
The shock itself beyond that classical clear sound is the sound itself of the scene. Every time at any time Yngwie’s guitar is decadent but this work is also extreme in that standard. The drum picked up to the raw sound is clearer, but the guitar sound is so deep that the base, the keyboard and the vocal can push it. For example, at movie sites, I often see people who copy guitars while wearing CDs, but a balance comparable to that. Backbands are just something of songs to understand, thoroughly guitar, guitar! It is a guitar !!! It seems to be a story that you can not believe to be a good point usually, but this work is different. As I mentioned earlier, this work does not bite at all even with that uncanny sound, and he does not miss the small sound that smoke emits. On top of that the condition of the equipment seems to be good, the essential Strat sound is glossy without stagnation. In other words, it is an image that vividly depicts beautifully flowing guitars like detail stage videos by Yngwie himself until the details.
What is drawn with “The Ygwevey” quality is, of course, “The Ingvey” show. While sharing his vocal with the keyboard Nick Marino in recent years, the main is totally defeated in anyway with an instrument. Style is reminiscent of “SPELLBOUND LIVE IN ORLANDO”, but still similar. “Soldier” “No Rest for the Wicked” “World on Fire” of “WORLD ON FIRE” which was released later will also be played, and old songs such as “Like an Angel (For April)” and “Seventh Sign” Also show off. I am pleased with the initial songs “Now Your Ships Are Burned”, “Evil Eye”, “You Do not Remember, I’ll Never Forget” that I could not listen to “SPELLBOUND LIVE IN ORLANDO / TAMPA”. Such a set can continue witnessing up far too close to Yngwie who knocks it down feelingly.

Angles, sounds, sets, and guitars are “The Ingvey”. It was unlikely that there was a picture that could thoroughly experience his only self-esteem. Beyond just superb quality, Yngwie’s unique superb item. Please, enjoy this opportunity to your heart’s content.

その後にリリースされた『WORLD ON FIRE』の「Soldier」「No Rest for the Wicked」「World on Fire」も演奏されますし、「Like an Angel (For April)」や「Seventh Sign」といった往年の名曲も披露。何より『SPELLBOUND LIVE IN ORLANDO/TAMPA』では聴けなかった初期曲「Now Your Ships Are Burned」「Evil Eye」「You Don’t Remember, I’ll Never Forget」が嬉しい。
