The golden rule “YES + Mike Millard” has produced many masterpiece live albums. The Patrick Moraz era appears in the master collection. Of course, it will be released on a permanent storage press CD.

It was “June 21, 1975 Los Angeles performance” that was imbued with this work. It is a superb audience recording that vacuum packed the site of the famous venue “Hollywood Bowl”. Mirrored has recorded a wide variety of bands, but YES is a master’s favorite. At our shop, we have permanently preserved a total of 4 masterpieces, including 1974, 1977, 1978 x 2 … But they were all during the Rick Wakeman era (although Millard was also a fan of Rick’s personality). This work is a masterpiece of “REALYER TOUR” that was fully excavated.

Before touching on the contents, first of all, the position of the show. Speaking of the Moraz era, the official video “LIVE: 1975 AT Q.P.R.” is also a symbol, so let’s check the schedule of the world tour as well.

● 1974
《August: Joined Patrick Moraz》
・ November 8-25: North America # 1a (13 performances)
“November 28,” Relayer “released”
・ November 28-December 17: North America # 1b (18 performances)
● 1975
・ April 15-May 17: UK (24 performances) ← * Official video
・ June 17-July 25: North America # 2 (32 performances) ← ★ Coco ★
・ August 23: Appearance at Reading Festival

This is the whole picture of “REALYER TOUR”. There were two laps of the US Open tour in 1974 and 1975, but this work is the latter. It was the 5th performance of “North America # 2”, about a month after the official video.

This show has been known for a long time as a famous recording, but the main one is Mirrored. And this work is the ultimate Gene product digitized from the Omoto cassette. The sound is a masterpiece of the tour. After all, even the masters have been competing for the No. 1 title on the tour, and the original cassette has appeared, so it is inevitable to pull away the rivals at once. He is an unparalleled solitary king.

In fact, the beautiful sound is super delicate and tight. The site, “Hollywood Bowl,” is an open-type theater with no walls or ceilings that reflect sound. For that reason, the output sound of PA is sucked in with zero reverberation component, and the core is exposed as if it were a sound board. Of course, the open space is easily affected by the weather, and if you move away from the PA, it will become extremely scary. However, this work is made by the legendary master Millard. The master is not supposed to make such a mistake, and while the open space is full of flavor, the strength and the sense of stability that he feels up close are also enormous. In addition, this work updates the highest peak of such super-famous recording. It has been meticulously mastered to adjust the original sound, which was (slightly) clogged. The sound is improved, and a feeling of openness that extends beautifully into a wide and wide void is also provided.

This work is a big march on the tour No. 1, but this “No. 1” is the throne that holds not only the audience recording but also the sound board. First of all, the symbolic official video, which is famous for its history, is awkward. In the first place, it is a monaural sound, and equipment trouble suddenly occurred at the beginning of the show. The mix was collapsing. Speaking of another super famous sound board, there is also a performance in Boston in 1974 (you can enjoy it on our definitive board “THE YEARS OF DELIRIUM”), but the song itself is incomplete. Strictly speaking, this work also has a tape change at the beginning of “Long Distance Runaround”, but it is still almost a full recording over 2 hours. Let’s check the contents here as well.

・ Time and a Word: Sweet Dreams (★)
・ Third album: Your Move (★) / Clap (★)
・ Fragile: Mood For A Day (★) / Long Distance Runaround (★) / Roundabout
・ Crisis: Close To The Edge / And You And I
・ Tales from Topographic Oceans: Ritual
・ Relayer: Sound Chaser / To Be Over / The Gates Of Delirium
* Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard on the 1974 Boston performance sound board.

… And it looks like this. As a matter of fact, “THE YEARS OF DELIRIUM” includes the 1974 Boston performance and the 1976 Jersey City performance sound board of “SOLO TOUR”, but “Sweet Dreams” and “Mood For A Day” Is a repertoire that cannot be heard even if the two performances are combined. Also, compared to “LIVE: 1975 AT Q.P.R.”, “Yours Is No Disgrace” seems to be lacking, but this is because I didn’t play on the day. You can fully enjoy the full show.

Although it was recorded by the audience, it sounded better than the official video, and it was longer than the super famous sound board and you could enjoy the full show. A super masterpiece that is the ultimate evolution of Mike Millard’s world heritage … That is this work. Not the highest peak of this recording, but the tour … No, a historic live album that renewed the highest peak of the Moraz era. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content with the permanent storage press 2CD.

★ Superb audience recording of “June 21, 1975 Los Angeles performance”. It has been famous as the legendary recording of the tour No. 1 for a long time, but this work is the ultimate evolution board that has been digitized from the original cassette and further refined by meticulous mastering. It sounds better than the official work “LIVE: 1975 AT Q.P.R.” and is longer than the standard sound board of the 1974 Boston performance. It is a super masterpiece that has evolved the world heritage of Mike Millard who reigns on the throne of “RELAYER TOUR”.

・11月8日-25日:北米#1a(13公演)

Sweet Dreams(★)
Your Move(★)/Clap(★)
Mood For A Day(★)/Long Distance Runaround(★)/Roundabout
Close To The Edge/And You And I
Ritual
Sound Chaser/To Be Over/The Gates Of Delirium

また『LIVE: 1975 AT Q.P.R.』

公式作『LIVE: 1975 AT Q.P.R.』
