This is a reissue version of a valuable title, a handmade label for collectors by collectors, which was distributed only in a small part. Nowadays, copies are available soon, but this item is a regular reissue board that officially took over the master. Reissue label emblem and new back jacket for a cheaper re-appearance.
Wishbone Ash’s live recording featuring Andy Powell’s flowing guitar play and progressive song development. I’m worried about the cheers around the songs in the audience recording, but the performance itself is a high-quality sound that is captured quite clearly. Not only is Wishbone Ash’s masterpiece, but the songs from “Argus, the 100-eyed giant”, which can be said to be a historical masterpiece in rock history, are mainly composed, and it is wonderful and emotional no matter how many times you listen to it. The harmony of twin vocals is tearful to the guitar solo that specializes in phrasing rather than technique. Birds are the magnificent “Phoenix”. It is also worth listening to if you have an original album or the official live “Live Dates”. “LIVE IN CLEVELAND 2010” is also recommended. Andy Powell –vocal, guitar

アンディ・パウエルの流麗なギター・プレイとプログレッシヴな曲展開が魅力のウィッシュボーン・アッシュのライヴ音源です。オーディエンス録音で曲間部分やや周りの歓声が気になりますが演奏自体はかなり鮮明にとらえられた高音質です。ウィッシュボーン・アッシュの大傑作であるだけでなくロック史上においても歴史的名盤と言える『百眼の巨人アーガス』からの楽曲がメインに組まれており、何度聴いても素晴らしく、情緒豊かでテクニックよりフレージングに特化したギター・ソロにツイン・ヴォーカルのハーモニーは感涙もの。トリは壮大な『フェニックス』です。オリジナル・アルバムやオフィシャル・ライヴ『ライヴ・デイト』を持っている方でも聴く価値ありです。『LIVE IN CLEVELAND 2010』も併せてお勧めです。Andy Powell – vocal, guitar
